This is the largest and most well-renovated Western-style building in Kinmen. It was once used as an artillery garrison, a military hospital, the site of Kinmen High School, and a vacation center for officers and soldiers. In the exhibition room on the first floor of the western-style building, there are displays of the history and cultural relics of overseas Chinese in the past; there is a cafe on the second floor where you can buy drinks, and there is a row of chairs outside where you can enjoy the sea view and the sea breeze, which is very comfortable and perfect for cooling off. In front of the building is Jintang Park, where you can see the Statue of Liberty. You can walk along the slope all the way to Chenggong Beach and the tunnel. I took advantage of the summer vacation and the period when I couldn't go abroad due to the epidemic to visit Kinmen. In order to take the A321 large aircraft to feel more like traveling abroad, I went to Xiaogang Airport specifically to take it, because other small airports all use ATR propeller aircraft, which does not feel like the experience of traveling abroad. I am very grateful to my local friends for helping me plan so many attractions that I can’t introduce them all. In addition to the familiar military sites and history museums, Kinmen also has many secret places and great places for taking photos. Personally, I think Taiwanese people really love taking jumping photos, so I took a lot of them. I always feel that it is a great thing to show one's own vitality on the land that our predecessors have stepped on and the landscape that the government later worked hard to repair and build! As for hotels, it is recommended that you carefully choose a B&B or hotel that offers free round-trip transportation, otherwise you will be busy with the luggage or souvenirs you bring back. In the evening, you can also go to the city center of Kinmen to have barbecue or supper, which is another different experience! Another must-see spot on Jiangong Island is the Kinmen version of the "Oyster Man" where Moses parted the sea. Although the weather was super hot, the photos taken there were surprisingly beautiful. Everyone must remember to take a few more photos! Although its history is not too long, it has witnessed the changes of the times, from the Japanese occupation to the Nationalist government, and later it was opened as a tourist attraction. The building itself is well preserved, but it is a bit empty inside. There is a cafe on the second floor where you can order a cup of coffee and look into the distance. There is a statue of the goddess of victory under the western-style building, holding a torch and wearing a crown. From a certain angle, it looks beautiful. There is an old newspaper office next to the building, where you can borrow costumes to take photos, which is also quite interesting.

Chen Jinglan Mansion is the largest Western-style building in Kinmen. The exterior color of the building is white. But the interior decoration is different. It has exquisite carvings and symmetrical arches. The feeling of the on-site visit is that it is worth changing into a cheongsam to take beautiful photos! ! Chen Jinglan Western-style House is undoubtedly the most well-preserved and beautiful Western-style house in Kinmen. Even tour groups charter buses to visit. To take good photos, you must avoid these groups. Although it is located in a remote area, it is well worth the visit because you can take stunning photos. Chen Jinglan Western-style House was built in 1921 by an overseas Chinese businessman returning from Singapore to honor his family. It is currently the largest Western-style house in Kinmen. The exterior is pure white, symmetrical on both sides, and decorated with many carvings. This two-story building was once used as a rest center for soldiers, so even today, some soldiers have fond memories of this place. The blue window sills on the second floor make a striking backdrop for photos, especially if you wear brightly colored clothes. The second-floor terrace is also an excellent spot for photos. With the Western-style house as the background, wearing a vintage dress for photos adds a nostalgic touch!
