France Travel | I rented a castle in the mountains of southern France.
On my fifth trip to France, I wanted to do something different. I had never been to southern France, so I planned a trip to Nice, Monaco, Grasse, Cannes, and other places in southern France. I visited the perfume museum in Grasse and went to various luxury perfume raw material producing areas.
Of course, I also stayed at the Chateau Le Cagnard in Nice. This hotel is located in a medieval castle village in Cagnes-sur-Mer.
Built in the 13th century, the entire castle retains its original architecture. It is located on a hillside with winding roads, giving it a medieval movie feel.
From the top of the castle, you can see the Mediterranean Sea and the old houses in the distant mountains. There are no tourists here, and there are few villagers. It's like a castle that belongs to me.
There are 4 restaurants on the top of the castle, and the prices are quite expensive. A meal starts at 60 euros, but since I'm here, I might as well have a good meal and feel the atmosphere of this quiet castle.
