The most prosperous period was the Liao Dynasty, which saw the construction of temples, caves, pagodas, inscriptions, etc....

💗Other tips:
1. You can consider taking a sightseeing bus directly to the foot of the temple mountain, walking from the mountain to the bottom of the mountain, and walking all the way down to save time and effort.
If you are in good physical condition, you can walk up/down the mountain like we did and explore the entire Phoenix Mountain Scenic Area.
2. There is a trail next to the temple at the foot of the mountain, which is only accessible to one person (you cannot walk side by side). The trail is full of cobblestones and is quite slippery, making it very difficult to walk. There is a cliff next to it and there are no safety measures such as guardrails.
