It's a cheap mode of transportation in BKK like MRT and BTS. You can get on and off whenever you want. If you start from Saphon Pier you can bsp. chinatown, visit a lot of buddhist temples or the royal palace. There are 4 lines. A ticket costs no more than 40 THB. First you have to know where you want to go. Watch out, because in front of the official ticket counters there are many offering private tours or long boat trips! #wecreate

The Chao Phraya Tourist Boat is a wonderful Hop on Hop off option that works almost exactly the same as a Hop on Hop off bus works in most cities. You simply buy a day ticket, and get on and off as many times as you want. But where does it go? What can you see? These are questions that I was asking before I used it the first time as well. Best River ride 👍👍👍 good buffet, good spread, 2hrs ride. lucky to see fireworks. have fireworks at different locations along the river, which is good. The fireworks lasted for almost 30 minutes. also music and dance both indoor & outdoor on the upper deck. worth the $$$👍

I had a wonderful time on the boat ride from Icon Siam tour. It was a great way to see the city from a different perspective and enjoy the breeze on the Chao Phraya river. The boat was comfortable and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They provided drinking water, ice, cooler, cups, tissue, rain coat, bluetooth speaker and travel insurance. The boat ride took me to some of the most iconic landmarks of Bangkok, such as Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, Rama 8 Bridge and Icon Siam mall. I also got to explore the hidden gems of the city, such as the Artist Village, the Giant Buddha at Wat Paknam and the Reclining Buddha at Wat Khun Chan. I enjoyed seeing the different styles of architecture and art along the way. The highlight of the boat ride was the musical fountain show at Icon Siam mall. It was a spectacular display of lights, water and music that mesmerized me. I also enjoyed browsing through the shops and restaurants at Icon Siam, which had something for everyone. I highly recommend this boat ride to anyone who wants to experience Bangkok in a fun and relaxing way. It was one of the best things I did in Bangkok and I would love to do it again.
