Goddess Ko Leng Chi Shrine
The Ko Leng Ji Shrine is a Chinese-style shrine located in Bang Nak Subdistrict, Mueang Narathiwat District, Narathiwat Province. It is a shrine that is different from other places because it has a spirit or shrine deity in the form of a dragon's head holding a gem. There is also a statue of Luang Pu Thuat walking on the sea water, which was blessed by Luang Pu Tim, Phra Khru Wisai Sophon of Wat Chang Hai.
This shrine is considered the first shrine built in Narathiwat. The design is in ancient Chinese architecture. There are oil-painted stucco sculptures on both sides of the walls, which were created by Chinese craftsmen. Inside the Ko Leng Ji Shrine, there are many deities, including the Buddha Yulai, Arhat Jikong, Guan Yu, Lord Tiger, Sun Wukong, and Guan Yin.
On the side of the shrine, there is a beautiful statue of Ganesha. You can go and pray for blessings.
