    Can you believe this is my first time actually celebrating Chinese New Year? I went to the park to see the lanterns and decorations, and it didn't disappoint. Yancheng Amusement Park is located in Changzhou, Jiangsu. About 1 hour from Shanghai . The entrance fee is 100 yuan, and it includes all the rides and some attractions. You can participate in archery and shoot for prizes for about 10–30 yuan. My favorite ride was the one showing an epic war in ancient China. #newyearadventure #lunarnewyear #decorations

    🕐️DAY 1: Morning: Drove 1.5 hours from Suzhou with two sisters and their daughters to Yancheng Zoo in Changzhou. Bought tickets for car entry. Started from the 'herbivore' area, brought a few kilos of carrots and cabbages, fed the animals along the way, and they were quite obedient. Afternoon: Visited the 'carnivore' area. Yancheng Zoo, like Singapore Zoo, does not have fences, mostly separated by rivers or glass. You can buy meat to feed the carnivores inside the park, but it's not cheap. 50 yuan for a portion of meat, which isn't much. Saw the 'Animal Kindergarten,' where even fierce tigers start working at a young age, looking like kittens . Evening: Left the park at dusk. 🕐️DAY 2: Morning: Stayed nearby, visited Yancheng Spring and Autumn Amusement Park, which is very close to the zoo. Lots of photo spots. Afternoon: Took the kids to various amusement facilities. Their moms didn't dare to play, but I love these . Evening: Spring and Autumn Amusement Park's evening light show - Liaozhai Nie Xiaoqian, Black and White Impermanence, Fox Spirit, and a situational drama performance. 💗Other tips: Feeding food inside the zoo is expensive. Carrots and cabbages can be brought in from outside, but meat must be bought inside. You can't use your own meat with the meat feeders, so the carnivores won't get it. Touching a tiger cub in the Animal Kindergarten costs 50 yuan for adults and 80 yuan for a parent-child pair. We fed the last of our cabbages to the elephants.
