Changchun Third Stop: Water Ecological Park
Changchun Water Ecological Cultural Park, I wanted to visit after reading other people's travel notes. It cost 15 yuan to take a taxi from the old site of Changchun Film Studio to there.
The introduction says that the ecological park was transformed from an old water plant, which was built by the Japanese. Some buildings and water treatment facilities are still preserved. After touring, I understood that the designer designed the ecological park based on this feature. The buildings in the park are very distinctive and suitable for photography. Some businesses have already settled in. The garden landscape designed in the park is very unique, using modern industrial style to interpret elements of classical Chinese gardens, as well as elements of gardens from other countries. Personally, I think the artistic conception and beauty of many gardens are expressed very cleverly and subtly. There are many design elements that require visitors to walk slowly and observe carefully to appreciate. Therefore, the tour itself is an interesting process of discovery. The ecological park is lush with greenery and rich in variety, making it a beautiful place to stroll. Some of the renovated buildings in the park are used as cafes, and some as boutique hotels. I think more and more businesses will settle in the future, making the park more lively. There's also an Easter egg: a TV series called 'The World' filmed scenes at the police station on the mountain in the park. If interested, you can look for it. In short, I really like this ecological park, and it is one of the highlights of my trip to Changchun.

Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park, a forest park in the city
The predecessor of Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park was the first water purification plant in Changchun, built in 1932, commonly known as the 'Nanling Water Plant.' After its relocation in 2015, it left behind a rare resource in provincial capital cities nationwide—350,000 square meters of ecological green space, as well as an irreplaceable water purification industrial cultural site.
Visiting here not only provides a cool respite during the hot summer, thanks to the abundance of trees, including century-old ones, but also allows you to discover many old buildings. The old houses with red-tiled walls stand out beautifully and uniquely amidst the concrete jungle. There's also a café here, offering a rare moment of tranquility and comfort in the quiet, cool woods.

Changchun Water Culture Park: A Green Poem in the City
Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park
🌳In the bustling urban jungle, there is an oasis gently treated by time—the Water Culture Park. It is like a melodious green poem, quietly telling the stories and dreams of the city of Changchun.
Stepping into this magical land, the first thing that catches the eye is the lush trees and well-arranged landscapes. Changchun Water Culture Park is not just a park🛝; it is a witness to history, a bearer of culture, and a model of harmonious coexistence between nature and humanity. Here, every tree and leaf carries the marks of time, and every brick and wall tells the glory of the past.
🚸Walking along the park's paths feels like traveling back to an era where industry and dreams coexisted. The old water purification equipment has been given new life, presented in artistic forms to the public, becoming unique scenic spots. These industrial heritages not only record Changchun's water supply history but also inspire deep thoughts on water resource protection and utilization.
🎠Changchun Water Culture Park is also an excellent place for family outings. Children's laughter echoes as they play in the sandpit, challenge themselves on the climbing frames, and feel the joy of flying on the swings. Parents accompany their play or leisurely stroll around, enjoying the rare parent-child time.
✅Of course, the charm of Changchun Water Culture Park goes beyond this. It is also a paradise for photography enthusiasts. Whether it is the vintage industrial buildings, the fresh natural scenery, or the creative art installations, all can become the focus of the lens. Here, you can easily capture every heartwarming moment and record your beautiful memories.

Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park
The Water Culture Ecological Park is actually Changchun's first water purification plant✌️ built in the 1930s. Inside, there are many water purification lathes🔧 from the last century on display. With 35 square meters of ecological green space🌹, the greening rate here is about 80%😁. Free to visit, I arrived a little after 10🉐. For today's trip, the equipment🚌 in Changchun still has to be the bus🚌. Route 270 goes directly to the water purification plant. Actually, its structure is quite similar to the Sculpture Park. The Sculpture Park displays sculptures, while the water purification plant displays lathes from various periods😄. It is an interactive water purification park where many parents bring their children to play💦. The reason why there are so many people on weekends is probably because this is the filming location of 'The World'. Inside, there is Zhou Bingkun's house, which is the 22nd lathe room. The weather today is exceptionally good, and there is no need for any filter embellishment☀️. Inside, it is well-connected. To the east is the Dongling Morning Market. After visiting the ecological park, you can take a stroll around the morning market🍽️.

The filming locations of the TV series 'Ren Shijian' are so much fun, even the locals in Changchun don't know about it
I've been watching 'Ren Shijian' recently, and once I start, I can't stop. Many of the filming locations for the TV series are in Jilin, including the new home of the male protagonist Zhou Bingkun, as well as the publishing house restaurant he runs, which are all located in Changchun's Water Culture Ecological Park.
This is definitely a niche and free attraction. When I took a taxi there, the driver was clueless until I showed him the navigation. The park is actually quite large, with 350,000 square meters of ecological green space, and the air quality is fantastic.
The Ecological Park is adjacent to Yatai Street in the west and Jingshui Road in the south. It was established in 1932, originally the First Water Purification Plant, also known as the 'Nanling Water Plant.' It was gradually transformed into a park, and there are many avant-garde designs inside, such as the 'Sunken Rain Garden.' Just the name itself is very appealing. There are peculiar sculptures and bridges with holes here, and to the north is a forest walking area where children play.
Now is the season when flowers are blooming. The old houses from the 'Ren Shijian' series, surrounded by fresh flowers and enveloped in the fragrance of lilacs, make walking and taking photos feel especially delightful. You can easily spend half a day here.

Checking in at the filming location of 'People in the World', Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park
Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park, formerly known as Changchun's First Water Purification Plant, is located in Changchun, Jilin Province. It was completed in August 2018. As of November 24, 2017, the park has a landscape area of 269,000 square meters and a total construction area of 46,000 square meters. As of October 18, 2018, there are 350,000 square meters of ecological green space. It is a key urban construction project, industrial relics, and a new cultural tourism landmark in Changchun.
There are about 80 buildings, 18 of which were built in the 1930s. Encountering old buildings in modern cities, hidden dense forests in the downtown area, cute squirrels bouncing around in the forest, it is a good place to stroll on weekends.
The film 'People in the World' was filmed at the Jishantang Restaurant here, which indeed fits the style of that era.

It's quite big inside, but there is no clear tour route. It's easy to walk back on your own. It takes about 2 hours to visit all. The electronic guide is 20, and the guide is 180/10 people. If you can get a guide for 10 people, it's really suitable. It will tell you in detail and take you without going back.
✅Changchun Zoo and Botanical Garden
Recommended index:
🎫Ticket: 60 yuan
Suggested play time: all day
Changchun Zoo and Botanical Garden is a large park that combines animal viewing and botanical gardening. There are various rare animals and plants here, and there is a Journey to the West at night. You can take photos and check in with your children.
✅There are mountains.⛰️
Originally I thought it was just a shopping mall when I checked the strategy. I'm not a person who likes to go shopping. I'm not too persistent in checking in at the Internet celebrity check-in place. I think this place is just for taking pictures
But it was a slap in the face... When you come to Changchun for a tour, you must go!
It's so beautiful! Maybe the locals feel nothing after shopping a lot, but non-locals really see such a unique shopping mall for the first time. The shopping mall is like a small mountain scenic area. Shopping in the mall is like climbing a small mountain area + small ancient town experience~ I can't bear to leave after shopping for an hour 💔

Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park - A good place to stroll where the old and new intertwine
Changchun's greening is not visible on the streets or in the community
Only when you approach the park
Especially this Water Culture Park
Walking around
It's like encountering the past
Touching time
It's nostalgic
And it's an oxygen bar
You can keep up with the times in a small literary way
And retain the label of time
