Chang Moob Military Outpost Address:
Pong Ngam, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai 57130, Thailand
Viewpoint at Doi Chang Mub, Myanmar Mountain Range, Chiang Rai
Location: Viewpoint at Doi Chang Mub, Myanmar Mountain Range, Chiang Rai
Atmosphere: This viewpoint is located on the way from Chiang Rai to Ban Pha Hee. The view is absolutely stunning with green mountains on the Myanmar side. There is a café where you can order coffee, sit, and enjoy the view. The atmosphere is very pleasant and it's definitely worth stopping by to take some photos. You can sit and enjoy the view while soldiers are on guard all the time since it's the Thai-Myanmar border.

The border between Thailand🇹🇭 and Myanmar🇲🇲
"Philippines"
A photo spot in the mountains of Thailand, with the mountains of Myanmar stretching out on either side of the mountain
Soldiers are camped nearby and walking around with guns
There's no war going on, but it's clear that it's a tense place
There are swings and a few spots to take photos, and it's a peaceful scene, but it doesn't seem safe enough to be called peaceful yet

Doi Chang Moob🐘⛰️: A viewpoint on the Thai-Myanmar border
#Nature attractions "Doi Chang Moob" 🐘⛰️ is another popular destination for tourists who love nature, especially those who love the beautiful view of the mountains and blue sky. Because this is the highest viewpoint of Doi Tung and can see the wide view of the mountain range on the Thai-Myanmar border.
On Doi Chang Moob, there is also a military base. It is a unit to protect the Thai-Myanmar border. Currently, it is partially open to visitors. It is very interesting.
The weather on Doi Chang Moob is cool all year round. Come for a walk and enjoy the view. Because the cool weather is very suitable for walking. Up here, there is a coffee shop to sit and relax. The view from the shop is amazing.🤩
For anyone who comes to visit Doi Tung or is going to Ban Pha Hee, don't forget to stop by Doi Chang Moob. I highly recommend it.👍🏻
📍Additional advice: Because this area (Doi Chang Moob, Pha Hee and nearby tourist attractions) is next to the Burmese border, there are military checkpoints all along the way. Sometimes we may be called to check the documents of both people and cars. Don't forget to have your documents ready. But don't worry, it is a normal check and the officers are kind.

Doi Chang Mub
Doi Chang Mub is home to the Doi Chang Mub Operations Base, located on the ridge that marks the border between Thailand and Myanmar in Pong Ngam Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province. This is a stunning viewpoint on the mountain peak. The highlight here is watching the sunset, which is so beautiful that you won't easily forget it. You might also get a chance to see a sea of mist in the morning or during the rainy season. Besides the breathtaking views that you must capture, there are also cool photo spots, such as the military bunkers that are still in use. You can enjoy the view from inside the bunkers or take pictures with them.

The higher you go, the more beautiful you are. The coffee is delicious.
Sometimes the way through is not always bad.
Through the way through this time is Doi Chang Moob.
With such a beautiful view, how could you not 💕💕💕check in?
🍵🍵🍵On Doi Chang Moob, there is a coffee shop.
Named Phamuang Coffee, Pha Muang Coffee.
It is a small, compact shop with only a few tables and chairs.
But what attracts tourists to come up and
drink coffee is the beautiful view. It is really, really, really beautiful.
Not an illusion. Everyone who comes here must be amazed.
✅ And this place is also a viewpoint for the sea of mist.
The Thai-Myanmar border and there is also a military base at Doi Chang Moob.

Doi Chang Moob ~ Thai-Burmese border viewpoint
It is a base of operations in the area of the 2nd Cavalry Company, close to the Thai-Burmese border. It is a tourist attraction and the highest viewpoint. The weather is cold all year round. In the morning, there is beautiful fog with a magnificent view of the mountains. You can see a small village hidden in a valley in the border of Burma. On top, there is a small coffee shop with a soldier who is a barista making drinks. There are bathrooms. There is a place to sit and enjoy the view. There are bunkers around the area, which is another popular place for taking pictures. From this point, you can stop by Doi Tung or drive down to Pha Hee and Pha Mi villages.
📍Located in Pong Ngam Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province
🚗 There is parking at the entrance or you can park on the side of the road. Please bring your ID card. Soldiers will ask to see it at the checkpoint.

Doi Chang Moob Base of Operation
Another tourist spot that anyone who comes to Chiang Rai, traveling to Doi Tung, Doi Pha Hee, Doi Pha Mi must stop to take a picture first because the view is very good. Looking out at the many mountains in front of you is the neighboring country, Myanmar. It can be said that we are standing at the border of Thailand and Myanmar.
Doi Chang Moob is located before Doi Pha Hee. If traveling from Doi Tung Palace, you can park your car on the side of the road. There is a coffee shop upstairs where you can sit and enjoy the view.

One day trip to 3 mountains: Pha Mi - Pha Hee - Chang Moob
⛰️ Today we will take you to #VisitChiangRai to a popular tourist attraction that anyone who goes to ChiangRai should not miss. Climb 3 mountains in 1 day: Doi Pha Mi - Doi Pha Hee - Doi Chang Moob.
⛰️ This route can be traveled in one day. We started by having lunch in hill tribe style at Doi Pha Mi and having coffee at Suan Khun Pu Life Museum, a popular cafe with a beautiful view of a pond contrasting with the mountain view behind. Unfortunately, when we went, they had already harvested the rice, so we didn't get to see the green rice fields.
⛰️ Then we continued to Doi Pha Hee. We went to the bamboo bridge at Ban Pha Hee. This place is very deep in. It's quite difficult to drive because the road is narrow, but the lovely atmosphere amidst the mountains is the most beautiful.
⛰️ The last destination is Aey Chang Moob. This is the Doi Chang Moob base of operations. It is a viewpoint on the Thai-Myanmar border with an incredibly beautiful view. They also have a cafe and sell coffee.
