Originally, it was called “Wang Weng Waterfall”, but later on the occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great’s 72nd Birthday Anniversary in 1999, the name was changed to honour the King. The atmosphere surrounding the waterfall is evergreen forest with cool weather. The waterfall cascades down from a cliff over 30 metres high, and there are five tiers. From the car park, visitors have to walk along a concrete walkway for about 300 metres to reach the Waterfall.
