Went to Century Park few weeks after we first got released from lockdown. No entrance ticket needed (before it was ¥10). So many people came to enjoy fresh air after months being locked at home. The black swans seems to enjoy the attention, too! A good place to take a long afternoon stroll and breathe some fresh air! Best time to visit: spring or autumn. A Green Escape in a Concrete Jungle

This was one of the first places I went after Shanghai’s long lockdown, and it felt amazing to just stretch my legs in the sunshine and surrounded by nature. There was an incredible vibe here too, the park was filled with life: people jogging, having picnics with friends, playing frisbee, bird-feeding sitting by the lake or lying on shaded grassy areas with a book. Spanning around 340 acres of land, Century Park makes for a great afternoon out on a sunny day. Whether you’re looking to go for a leisurely stroll and catch up with a friend, a snack-filled picnic, a long run or to admire the flora and fauna, there’s plenty of room and opportunity to do so. The park is split into several areas: a scenic lakeside area, a forest landscape area, a nature reserve, folk village and more.
