Right here in Macau! Embark on a whimsical journey with your little one.
Storybook readings, art crafts, picture book games, and parent-child reading – we spent a wonderful weekend with our little ones at Macau’s Doca dos Holandeses, filled with joy and laughter 🌈.
🔹Storybook Reading
Teacher Xiaoman brought her new book, *Mr. Mi Goes Tomato Shopping*. With its soft color palette and delicate storytelling, it tells a heartwarming tale. Amidst the laughter and fun, everyone picked up their brushes and painted various tomatoes and kittens.
Our older daughter wanted to share this joy with her younger sister back home, so Teacher Xiaoman specially designed an avatar of a girl with a bun hairstyle on the title page for her. She showed it off to us all the way home 🥰.
🔹Art Crafts
You can register on-site to experience the intangible cultural heritage of rubbing. It costs MOP 50 per session. It's a three-color stamp set, and the printing plate is made of tea leaves, promoting environmental protection. It's quite unique, and there are teachers on-site to guide you. Picture 13 shows the result of our older daughter and dad's joint effort👍🏻.
🔹Picture Book Games
We enjoyed the picture book *A Ride with Grandpa* with the teacher. During the session, the teacher handed out small toys to the children based on the storyline, and then we played games together. The children were all very enthusiastic.
🔹Parent-Child Reading
There's also a reading area on the second floor where you can relax. We read picture books together there. Parent-child reading allows for the exchange of interesting ideas and strengthens the parent-child bond.
🥳In addition, there's the Tai Tip Pou food court nearby, offering a variety of local snacks that captivated both adults and children. The cotton candy was as soft as a cloud, and the fish balls were delightfully bouncy. After playing, we came here to rest and have some snacks~.
Spending the weekend here is a fantastic choice~ We'll be back!
