It is a large emporium which was rather high end with many premium products readily available. I enjoyed all the food options which were offered. #yearofrabbit For this year, I decided to celebrate Chinese New outside of Singapore, so I travelled to Thailand. Once I reached Suvarnabhumi Airport, I travelled another 2 hours to reach pattaya. In pattaya I stayed in the beautiful Hilton Pattaya and enjoyed it to the max. I also visited the Central Festival Pattaya to join in the fun of the lion and dragon dance performances. what a fantastic start to the lunar new year celebrations.

Today I’ve been out for shopping in Central Festival, Pattaya and on the Ground floor (right next to the main door) I found food court named Food Park. I’ve been surprised for the prices here. One dish with rice and vegetables will cost you less then 100 THB. As all the food courts in Thailand you have to buy cash card first, and after you can purchase your food with this card. Unused balance can refund on the same day. #foodies

This post will be not as positive as I wanted it to be. Today I've been to dinner at Central Festival in Pattaya. On the 5th and 6th floors, this shopping mall has only eating places. And I decided to try today's BBQ buffet-style restaurant called AKA. Price before tax is a little more than 100 HKD. This is only positive what you can enjoy in this restaurant. The rest is not so good. Food quality is very low, and waiting time is very long. Pattaya is quite big city but have only 2-3 well know shopping malls. One of it is Central Festival Pattaya Beach. Shopping mall located on the lowest floors of Hilton Hotel and located right on the middle of Beach Road. Central festival is really good place to go out for shopping and dining. Beside that this shopping mall has very good cinema, massage shops, banks and clinics. If you are looking for cheap lunch and good value and you are at Central Festival Pattaya Beach so you can go to the 5th Floor and try a Japanese fast food restaurant- Yayoi. Value and portion size are very good. All the menu already included service changes, so no need to pay extra money. One set is around 200 THB and includes rice and miso soup. #songkran2024 We had a simple lunch at the central festival Pattaya area. The place was crowded with people during the lunch time. There are many tourists as well as locals there. You can find many yummy foods at the dining hall. There are local dishes such as the pork leg rice set, as well as phad Thai, and tom yum goong soup, which is one of our favorites to choose from. Located at the basement, you’ll find some halal stalls located near the entrance. We were particularly excited with the fried meats soaked in the thai chili sauce. One stick is at 10 baht. You need to change your money to a card (located near the entrance) to make a purchase at this food court. The source of inexpensive food in Central Festival Pattaya Beach would be here. Food Park is opposite Beach Eats. There are not as many people here as on the other side. The Food Park here has a theme. The advertising signs are in old-fashioned letters, a bit retro. There are a lot of seats and many restaurants that are delicious. I love to visit at Central festival Pattaya. There were some stalls outside the mall that sells cheap luggage bags. I bought two bags. The expandable 3 tier luggage which I can fold and zip it back to become a small bag. There are even wheels on it which makes it even better. I bought two and further bargained to 350 baht. After shopping I will go to the food mall in central festive Pattaya to have our lunch and dinner. The prices were affordable. There is even a supermarket there where you can buy snacks back for your friends in Singapore. Do visit the mall to explore them. #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers

While shopping at the mall, I spotted some shops selling their locally made snacks. I love banana chips as they are healthy and crunchy. Though the price is expensive, it is worth trying. Apart from bananas, they do have coconut chips too. As a nut lover, I do love their wasabi nuts. Such flavour is rarely seen in our local supermarkets. My next fabroite snack would have to be the rice cracker. Crispy crunchy and sweet. That suits my cravings. #bucketlistreboot

A month and a half ago, while swimming in the pool on the roof of our condo, I got into a conversation with a girl who had long settled in Pattaya. We were talking about places of entertainment in the city. Where can you go, so as not to pay entrance tickets and entertain your loved one. Service is very terrible, nobody pays attention at you. And I’m thinking why at this moment I not go out immediately. Because after I ordered food, I totally regret. Taste is like leftover (in the photos still looks okay, but not for eating). And if you will not finish those food they will charge extra, for every dish you’ve not eaten.
