[2025 Cebu Attraction] Travel Guide for Cebu Taoist Temple (Updated Apr)

The Taoist temple asked us to wear masks and there was no admission fee. I took a picture because the atmosphere of the wall seen from the parking lot was mysterious, but it is difficult to capture the real thing in a photo. However, it is still a bit lingering because the weather is cloudy. If you go up the stairs and go up again, you will see a Chinese-style temple with many dragons here and there. I think that is why the taxi driver called it the Dragon Temple. Photography is prohibited in the area that appears to be the main temple, and there were actually a few people kneeling inside doing something. There is a bathroom on the left side of the building that appears to be the main temple, but it is clean and there is no toilet paper, so it was okay. If you go up to the right from the main temple, you can see the city of Cebu, and the view is good, but we did not have enough energy, so we just took a picture from the bottom and came back down. The temple is set in beautiful surroundings easily reached by taxi from the city centre. Quite a lot of steps need to be climbed so be advised to wear suitable footware. The temple is a popular site so do not expect to be alone there. We went early morning so it was less crowded. #givethanks #givethanks

I walked around slowly, but it was large enough to be enjoyed in about 30-40 minutes, and although there are stairs, there are not that many, so it felt like a good light workout. 🚶🚶♂️ However, since it is a temple, please dress appropriately (avoid shorts and sleeveless tops) and refrain from taking photos inside the building where you pray. #cebutrip Nice temple. You need a taxi to arrive here, but I felt it was worth visiting it . Very different experience. You need a mask to get in the complex. It is not allowed to take pictures inside. The views are amazing and the entire place feels very peacefully.
