Caversham Wildlife Park
Perth, WA, Australia
I strongly recommend you all go to this place if you go to Perth, WA, Australia. It was such a great experience that I have ever had! You can even hug a koala in your arms (have to pay a ticket for it beside the entrance ticket, but it's really worth) and have got a chance to see other animals that I only see through pictures or books.

Amazing collection of Australian animals and birds. We love the wildlife park😊 so many animals to see and we get to see them really closely. Loving the Koalas and Wombat sessions. The kangaroos are cute and friendly and put their paws on your arm as they eat out of your hand. Great place to spend a few hours with the little ones.
It was a great experience here.

Wild Encounters at Caversham: A Heartwarming Haven
#australiatrip
We fell in love with this wildlife park! Upon entry, kangaroos hopped and grazed freely, making feeding them with complimentary food a joy. While the koala holding experience was brief, the park's other attractions shone. We spotted rare white kangaroos and enjoyed a photo op with a koala. Highly recommended the extra fee for a photo opportunity with the gorgeous Koalas. Exceptional staff added to a wonderful experience Despite the scorching heat, plenty of shade and relaxing walks made exploration pleasant. The cafe offered a satisfying selection of snacks and meals. Free parking was a bonus. This park is a must-visit for anyone eager to experience Australian wildlife.

Visiting Caversham Wildlife Park in Perth was a delightful and immersive experience into Australia's unique wildlife. Located in Whiteman Park, this popular attraction offers a close encounter with native animals in a natural bushland setting. Exploring the park, I had the opportunity to hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies, interact with friendly koalas, and observe iconic Australian animals such as wombats, dingoes, and emus up close. The park's knowledgeable staff provided informative talks and feeding sessions, sharing insights into the behaviors and conservation efforts of these fascinating species. Caversham Wildlife Park also features interactive farm shows, where visitors can learn about farm life and meet farm animals like sheep, goats, and chickens. Whether exploring on a self-guided tour or joining a guided experience, Caversham Wildlife Park offers a memorable day out for families, wildlife enthusiasts, and anyone wanting to connect with Australia's diverse fauna in a natural and educational setting.

Nice weather as we were there during winter time, nice animals in wildlife, you can carry koala here but not included in entry ticket, cannot remember how much and there are 2 sessions and limited number of people as well. telhere are some other up close and personal with some animals. many to see. Near airport and city, if you don't drive, it may be a bit challenging to go there though. #wildlifepark#koala#animals#quokka#perth#australia

Day trip to Caversham Park, Perth
#newyearadventure #vianasjourney #yearofrabbit #awesomepic
Getting There - Getting an uber for 40 AUD from Four season Hotel. It’s quite a long ride but you can share the fare with friends. Along the journey here, you’ll see a lot of nature view instead of big city view. That’s pretty calming your stress for a bit.
Attractions - Horse ride, Peguin feeding, koala & kangaroo (first time seeing it). Each hour they have their own activities that you can join in, but I didn’t get to do that as we also have other arrangement.
Hotels - Four Points, Perth
Food - caferia at the wildlife park, pricewise affordable, would like to recommend the Beef lagsana

Kids Love Caversham Wildlife Park
At Caversham Wildlife Park in Perth, it is an animal galore for the kids and adults. With a paid ticket, you can stay in the animal park for the entire day. There are several shows running and one of them, the kids learnt about sheep shearing and what they do with the wool. The park is home to many animals and you can see the all famous koala and take pics with them. They are so cuddly cute! My kids loved the kangaroo zone the most. The kangaroos are free to roam and there is kangaroo feed that you can take to feed any of the kangaroos there. You can also take pictures with the snake, wombat and other animals and even pat them. It is definitely a place to go for animal lovers!

A close encounter with roos & lalas! 🤩
Unlike a conventional zoo, Caversham Wildlife Park is privately owned and they have a huge area for the kangeroos to roam about freely.
While the number of animals and other creatures might not be as many as a zoo, but we get to have close interactions with some of the animals!
They have several shows, each featuring different types of animals, several times throughout the day, so I recommend planning the day ahead before going. Our favourite is the “Meet the Koalas”, where we saw one up close. Their fur is as soft as we imagined. So soft!!! 🥰 And they smell so good! Just like the eucalyptus they eat!
But the highlight of our day has to be hand-feeding the kangeroos. A truly unique experience! I do recommend feeding them earlier in the day though, as they always seem too full and lethargic towards noon, when they will find a shady spot to nap. Probably food coma! 😂
