I'll recommend this place to anyone who needs a change of atmosphere and scenic without commuting too far from the city. The park fits groups' simple outdoor activities, or a picnic for families, friends, and couples. Parking lot is also spacious and there is no entrance fee. We went there on one public holiday that falls on Wednesday afternoon and the place wasn't crowded significantly. No street-food sellers around. The city government did a good job when they opened this park for public. First time here, confused which door to go through. When I entered I was surprised because I didn't expect the place to be super cozy and most of the visitors were young people. Parking is always full. The place smells like vintage, so l feel like I'm back in the 1970s. It's retro. Decent service. Friendly and not lazy. 4th time here. After piccolo, macchiato, today I tried the Magic which is strong and take-away flat white. Cool packaging, huh. There is valet parking, so you don't have to panic seeing the narrowness of the Surabaya road, which is only one way. The place is across from a row of antique shops, easy to find. The building is in a traditional shape, so from the outside the road looks small, but when you enter there are many spots that we can try, whether you want smoking or non-smoking rooms, all with their own uniquene ss. They dont provide non-coffee drink, but there is mineral water. The coffee drink itself has 3 levels, lite, medium and strong, I tried the lite yesterday because I don't really like coffee, and I can still tolerate it. The waffles are delicious, crunchy, and the ice cream is even better. The cafe is also instagramable.
