It’s situated next to the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, and not far from the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño. 🌟This place is perfect for those who wants to learn more about Cebuano history and culture. The building is a fine example of the balay nga bato or de cal y canto – a structure of stone and wood. It houses the religious icons and things wore and used by the priests in conducting mass. It is a 2 ⬆️⬇️ storey museum, and has a spacious garden 🌺🌸🌻. The building was one of the few extant structures in downtown Cebu City that was totally spared from the ravages of World War II. 📍The old museum is located just beside Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral along P. The Cathedral Museum of Cebu is just across the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. Just in front of the Museum you can also see the Monument of Rajah Humabon. The museum displays old religious artifacts that was displayed before inside the Church. However, with all these religious artifacts, it is ironic to say that you will feel creepy inside the museum. Though it is nice to appreciate how they preserved the artifacts, it is still creepy inside this place. #givethanks #cebuano #religiousculture

CATHEDRAL MUSEUM OF CEBU ✨ My boyfriend and I were fond of Museum hopping a few years back when I was still living in Cebu City. The Cathedral Museum of Cebu was one of my favorite museums in the city. The Museum features a huge gallery of Catholic Church antiques including Saint statues, Priest ordained uniforms, old books and scriptures.
