It was a short vacation to Mallorca. We visited La Seu (Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma) when we first reached. This Gothic cathedral, also known as La Seu, was built on the site of a pre-existing Arab mosque. The Royal Palace of La Almudaina is an impressive fortification built in the 13th century. 📍Carrer del Palau Reial, s/n, 07001 Palma, Illes Balears, Spain 💰 Around €7 If you love seafood like me, I would recommend you to check out the Ca'n Eduardo. We tried the Fresh fish and "Caldereta de Langosta" (Lobster Stew). It was very delicious and we all love it 😍 💰Around €40-€50 per person 📍 Muelle de la Lonja, s/n, 07012 Palma, Illes Balears, Spain We also visited the Valldemossa Charterhouse. The Charterhouse was a royal palace before it was handed over to the Carthusian monks in 1399. It was famous for being the residence of composer Frédéric Chopin and writer George Sand. 📍Plaça de la Cartoixa, s/n, 07170 Valldemossa, Illes Balears, Spain 💰 Around €10 We also explored the Deia. Deià is a picturesque village known for its literary and musical residents. Robert Graves, the famous poet and novelist, lived here 🏠 You could visit Robert Graves House and Museum too. 📍Carretera Deià a Sóller, 68, 07179 Deià, Illes Balears, Spain 💰Around €7 Not to forget my favorite red, Restaurante Sebastián. They are known for their Seasonal dishes with a modern twist. All the items were good and fresh. The price considered cheap for the quality and portion of food. 💰Around €30-€40 per person 📍 Carrer des Puig, 4, 07179 Deià, Illes Balears, Spain We also visited Cuevas del Drach (Dragon Caves). We got the chance to explore these fascinating caves and enjoy a boat ride on the underground lake. 📍Carretera de les Coves, s/n, 07680 Porto Cristo, Illes Balears, Spain We also explored the Cala Millor Beach 🏖️. We also spent some time at this popular beach, we went swimming and sunbathing ☀️ We also visited Santanyí Market. This local market open on Wednesdays and Saturdays only. We went to shop for souvenirs and local produce. 📍Plaza Mayor, 07650 Santanyí, Illes Balears, Spain If you were around this area, I would recommend you to try Palma de Mallorca. It is a Michelin-starred restaurant offering innovative Mediterranean cuisine. The museum is located on the ground floor of the Cathedral and occupies the two chapter rooms; the Gothic room built in the 14th century and the Baroque room, which dates back to the 18th century. A collection of Gothic sculptures, paintings and silver smithery as well as Baroque sculptures and silver smithery are very nice and you should not give it a miss. The cathedral museum is on the left hand side just after you have entered from the ticket office.

Palma centre is very beautiful! I visited Palma cathedral and the surrounding area. Perfect for solo traveler’s or a the friend and family. The old town is very picturesque with the old streets and buildings around. Palma cathedral is one not to miss! There are lots of lovely independent shops along the main tourist paths. Various bars and restaurants to stop off at throughout the day.
