Surprise stopover
Had an off day from touring and spent a night in Malaga. Was a last minute plan so it was a pleasant surprise. Amazing scenery, fantastic beaches, a castle to climb, and a cute Frenchie being his own boss.
Food was affordable even around the city centre. A nice shopping stretch near the castle. There was a crowd waiting for some celebrity at the hotel nearby too, dunno who though.
And the sun was beautiful.

Castle in the Clouds: Unveiling the Secrets of Castillo de Gibralfaro
#weekendgetaways
Perched atop a hill, Castillo de Gibralfaro offers breathtaking views of Málaga's coastline. As I explored the ancient Moorish fortress, I uncovered a rich history dating back to the 10th century. The castle's imposing walls, towers, and battlements transported me to a bygone era. With each step, I discovered hidden passageways, scenic lookout points, and stunning vistas. The castle's mystique and beauty left me enchanted. Whether you're a history buff or seeking panoramic views, Castillo de Gibralfaro is a must-visit destination that will leave you spellbound and inspired. A true gem in the heart of Málaga!

Malaga’s Top View!
The Gibralfaro Castle in Málaga provides one of the city's most spectacular views. From its elevated position on Mount Gibralfaro, visitors can enjoy a panoramic outlook over the city, including the harbor, the Alcazaba, and the historic center. The view extends out to the Mediterranean Sea and, on clear days, offers sights of the surrounding coastal landscape and distant mountains. The castle’s vantage point also provides a unique perspective on Málaga’s urban layout and historical architecture.

💕Mesmerizing Views from the top! Beautiful Malaga💕
🇪🇸Marvelous Malaga🇪🇸
The long, winding climb up to the Castillo de Gibralfaro, perched atop the hill overlooking Málaga, is well worth the effort. From this highest vantage point, visitors are treated to a truly breathtaking 360-degree view of the city and its stunning Mediterranean surroundings. The Castillo's Moorish architecture and defensive walls speak to its strategic importance throughout history. Pausing to take in the panorama, one can almost feel a sense of the fortress' former glory. The rewarding vista that unfolds makes the rewarding trek up to this lofty lookout an essential part of any visit to Málaga.
Do not miss this epic journey up from the castle! You will truly be mesmerized!

🌸The Most Breathtaking Views of Malaga💕
🇪🇸Marvelous Malaga🇪🇸
We visit One of the beautiful sights of Málaga~the Castillo de Gibralfaro.
The ruins of the castle are located high above the old town.
The hill on which the remains of the castle are located is about 135 metres high. It is easy but quite tiring to walk up the steep path along the walls of the Alcazaba, we were literally sweating in the cold going up🥹🤣
⭐️But The view of the city is already stunning during the ascent and quickly made us forget the effort. I was particularly impressed by the view of the Alcazaba, which didn’t look that big from the street.
⭐️Best part is What a wonderful view of the city! There is the view inland and the mountains in the hinterland. On the other side, you look towards the harbour, the waterfront and the Costa del Sol. Yes, and you can even see the bullring of Málaga from above.
