When in Italy, don’t skip Verona 🇮🇹

Spending a day in Verona, Italy, felt like stepping into a romantic storybook! 🇮🇹 The city is absolutely charming, with its cobblestone streets, ancient buildings, and lively piazzas. My first stop was the iconic Arena di Verona, a stunning Roman amphitheater that’s still used for concerts and opera today. The entrance fee was about €10, and it was worth every cent to stand inside and imagine the history that unfolded here. 🎭 The views from the top were spectacular, giving me a great perspective of the city.
Of course, I couldn’t miss Juliet’s House (Casa di Giulietta), which was buzzing with tourists. 🏠 The entrance fee was around €6, and even though it was crowded, standing on the famous balcony was a must-do for any hopeless romantic! 💕 The courtyard is filled with love notes and padlocks – it’s such a cute and heartfelt tradition.
Afterward, I wandered over to Piazza delle Erbe, which is full of colorful market stalls, beautiful frescoed buildings, and cozy cafes. I sat down for an espresso and just soaked in the atmosphere. ☕ Later, a walk along the Adige River and crossing the Ponte Pietra offered breathtaking views. If you have time, a quick trip up to Castel San Pietro gives an unbeatable panorama of Verona. 🌄 Verona is more than just romance – it’s history, beauty, and the essence of Italy all rolled into one! #trip #Verona #RomanticItaly
