🇨🇦🇨🇦Downtown Toronto
Downtown Toronto is the main central district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Toronto is Canada's most populous city and the most developed city. I traveled alone and it was safe enough not to think it's dangerous at all. Various buildings and shops have a lot to see and the night view is really pretty. It definitely is a walkable city.
Especially, Young Street is Toronto's most famous throughfare, with enough history to pack a few volumes of a local encyclopedia.
There's also some must-do's for spend a day in Toronto.
- Royal Ontari Museum
- Art Gallery of Ontario
- Casa Loma

Casa Roman Castle
Berat started from the financial, life loyal to the British royal family, the young general, in 1905, won the jazz title.
And he built the largest castle in North America, Casa Roma, for his beloved wife to overlook the entire city.
Casa Rome is built like a medieval castle and is the most luxurious private residence in North America. As the richest man in Canada at the time, he was a huge man, and he was very extravagant. The castle was full of precious furniture and art, just like a museum, beautiful and dazzling. The rooms are designed in Chinese style and display many oriental antiques in the interior. The giant snail lacquer peacock painting screen may be the famous Yangzhou famous product that year! As the saying goes, life is impermanent, and the wind and water turn. Later, because of the war, the Berat family faced bankruptcy, and the Lara was like a building. The castle was sold cheaply and eventually became a public place. Berat died in 1939, and when he reached the end of his life, he had only 185 and 6,000 in debt.

Casa Romano is the private residence of Sir Henry Mill Berat, the leading tycoon of Canada in the early 20th century. His beautiful wife is in poor health and can't travel. In order to let her appreciate the essence of European architecture, a medieval castle was built on the hills of Toronto. The cost of a door is as high as 10,000. Casa Romana is a mansion that combines Romanesque, Gothic, Norman and other European architectural styles, including a library, the Queen's Rifle Museum, swimming pool, bowling alley and shooting range.

Canada—Toronto welcomes you and your family to check in
Travel Guide:
Atop a hill in the northern part of downtown Toronto stands a century-old European-style castle—Casa Loma.
The castle was built in 1911 and was the private mansion of Sir Henry Pellatt, once the richest man in Canada. This medieval-style fortress cost $3.5 million and took three years to construct, combining Roman, Gothic, and Norman architectural styles. It is magnificent, elegant, romantic, and exquisite, the epitome of luxury. Comprising beautifully decorated suites, an 800-foot tunnel, ancient towers, stables, and a 5-acre garden, the castle alone has 98 rooms. The owner could enjoy the ultimate comfort of noble life from every angle.
What leaves the deepest impression after the visit is the dramatic rise and fall in the life of the castle's owner. Sir Henry and his wife lived in this castle for only 11 years. With the outbreak of World War I and the economic collapse, the government took over his main power industry, and his family quickly fell into decline. The self-made richest man, in order to preserve the sacred title of knighthood in his heart, gave up the castle and all its treasures within. His fortune was scattered, leaving only the undying dream of nobility to accompany him through a desolate remainder of his life. Many of the world's principles seem to be contained in this tumultuous story.
By the way, 🏯Casa Loma Castle is also a famous haunted house in Toronto during the Halloween season. When we climbed the tower, the props from last week's adventure activities had not yet been removed.

Casa Loma Stables 🇨🇦
In 1905 Sir Henry Pellatt purchased land which had been the private golf course of Albert Austin of nearby Spadina. The following year, anticipating the construction of Casa Loma, he hired E.J. Lennox to design and build these stables, estimated to have cost $250,000. The stalls were made of Spanish mahogany and the floors were covered with tiles set in a zig-zag pattern so that the horses would not slip. When the main castle was completed, it was connected to the stables by a tunnel. Here, in 1944, in utmost secrecy, the royal navy placed an assembly plant for asdic, an early form of sonar which was vital for the battles of the atlantic. The existence of the factory was disclosed only after the second world war has ended. Toronto Historical Board 1991.

Casa Loma - House on the Hill 🇨🇦
Casa Loma and the Pellatts.
Of all the houses built on this escarpment, Casa Loma is the Grandest meaning "House on the Hill". It was the romantic vision of the industrialist Sir Henry Pellatt (1859-1939). Pellatt made a fortune harnessing the power of Niagara Falls electrifying the streets and homes of Toronto. A flamboyant enterpreneur, he was fascinated by the middle ages. Pellatt was knighted as patron and commander of the Queen's won Rifles, a Canadian militia regiment. His towered mansion designed by Architect E.J. Lennox in 1909 is an extravagant Medieval Fantasy. At 98 rooms, It is Canada's largest house. The Pellatts moved to the house in 1913 and lived there for eleven years. In 1924, faced with severe setbacks, Pellatt was forced to sell his cherished home. After an unsuccessful attempt as an apartment-hotel, this landmark was taken over by the West Toronto Kiwanis Club who continue to manage the castle as a popular tourist attraction. (carved on stone)

A medieval castle in Toronto
In Spanish, Casa Loma Castle means “castle atop the hills.” The architecture is elegant, gorgeous and magnificent. A bronze main gate, extravagant carvings, thick walls and a unique fountain in front of the castle – still as fantastical as ever, and even more beautiful under a clear blue sky.
