This is a must-visit for Globalists participating in the Hyatt Brand Explorer program to collect 5 brands. The hotel is next to the Hyatt Centric, another Hyatt brand! You can stay at 2 brands in Zhongshan Park! The hotel design is very young and trendy, and it has its own IP, a pink cartoon character. The hotel has also launched an exploration program like the Hyatt Centric. Collect stamps from three locations in the hotel to redeem a gift. The gift here is a sticker, which is a bit useless. The design of Caption is a bit like Moxy, integrating the hotel lobby into the restaurant. Of course, Moxy integrates the bar. The first thing you see when you enter the Caption lobby is a restaurant. The prices are quite high, but a cup of coffee is okay. The service continues Hyatt's usual excellent style, and the staff are really warm and friendly. As a Globalist, I only got a breakfast upgrade, not a room upgrade. I could check out late at 4 pm, but they still found me a room with a better view on a higher floor. The room design also feels a bit like Moxy, but the price is much higher than Moxy. I feel like I could stay at the Hyatt in Jiading District. But it's okay to complete the 5-brand exploration program. Overall, it's worth visiting to participate in the Brand Explorer program and collect 5 brands. The surrounding area is also very commercial. I like the Beijing Milk Company downstairs. My best friend is coming back to China this weekend, so I helped her find a hotel in Zhongshan Park in the city center. It's close to the popular Yuyuan Road, and there are plenty of places to eat, drink, and have fun nearby.   The hotel has a young and trendy style, with dark green colors and cork design elements. It's the perfect combination of retro and fashion.   This time, I stayed in a deluxe twin room, which is about 30 square meters. It's spacious enough for a solo business trip, a vacation, or a couple or friends.   There is a Tao Le Workshop on the second floor of the hotel, which is open 24 hours a day. You can also use a very special socializing "prop" here! It's the "Water" Portable Water Bag! It's the perfect combination of eco-friendly and innovative, and it embodies the hotel's sustainable and eco-friendly philosophy. It's no longer just a simple and rigid promotion, but a real part of social life. At this fun human meeting point, let's use the water bag to go from "I" to "E"!   Recently, the hotel has also welcomed a special guest: Pink Bobo! I had to go meet and make friends!   The elevator doors, giant installations, soft pillows, standees, and paintings are all surrounded by cuteness. #travellerswonderland Caption by Hyatt is a newly opened hotel concept by Hyatt at Zhongshan Park, adjoining the Yuyuan Road area filled with hipster cafes and shops. As befits the concept and the neighbourhood the decor is stylish and vibrant and has attracted a generally younger clientele to stay. 🚆 While the hotel is located 5mins walk from the metro exit, in practice it is another 10mins walk inside the underpass before you reach the metro proper. Pricing is a fair bit cheaper vs the Centric next door, it's an OK choice for a short stay as rooms are on the small side.

🏘️Room Type: Booked a basic room, but due to high demand, even Hyatt Globalist members didn't get an upgrade. The room is really small, and it's very cramped if you have a bit more stuff. 🧹Cleanliness: Normal, no issues. 🏕️Location: Next to Zhongshan Park Metro Station, very convenient to go downstairs and turn into the metro. This is probably the hotel's biggest advantage.📍 💗Other Tips: The new brand follows a youthful route, somewhat similar to Marriott's Moxy, with a design that appeals to young people's aesthetics. The facilities are simple, but the price is higher, making the cost-performance ratio average. Breakfast is à la carte, quite simple but tastes good.

What impressed me the most was the attention to detail in ensuring a high-quality fitness experience. The availability of fresh towels, water stations, and even a small stretching area added to the overall convenience and comfort. I had a fantastic workout session at Caption by Hyatt Zhongshan Park’s gym, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-equipped and pleasant fitness facility.

Visited the Hyatt Centric Shanghai Zhongshan Park with my bestie 🏨Location: 100 meters from the trendy landmark Yuyuan Road, about 1 kilometer from Shanghai MixC Mall. Direct access via Metro Line 2. 🏨Public Area: The hotel's design has a strong Shanghai-style atmosphere, with many abstract art illustrations adorning the corridors, creating an artistic vibe. 🏨Guest Room: We stayed in a king room with large floor-to-ceiling windows that provided ample natural light. The bathroom is designed with a wet and dry separation, and though not very large, it is very well designed and felt very comfortable during use. The drinking water in the room is quite special; there is a glass provided for guests to use at the hallway's water dispenser, which offers both hot and cold options. This is incredibly convenient for someone like me who likes to drink hot water when out and about but doesn't want to use a kettle. ☕Dining: Dining is at the Tor Factory, a shared space open 24 hours, combining a café, restaurant, and bar, and also suitable for working or relaxing. The space is comfortable with Shanghai-style design and lots of green plants. It's pleasant to order a coffee and chat with a couple of friends. I ordered the grilled eel stone pot rice, which came with two large pieces of eel and many side dishes, offering great value for money. Other options include wontons, sandwiches, croissants, and ice cream, all healthy light food choices. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the yogurt cups are made of biodegradable material, showing the hotel's commitment to environmental protection in the details. 🌆Fun: I also participated in the Tor Factory's Dragon Boat Festival themed event, learned how to make zongzi, and even made handcrafted coffee soap from coffee grounds, which was both stress-relieving and environmentally meaningful. Making crafts with other guests I hadn't met before, there was no lack of conversation topics. 🎉Fitness: Fitness enthusiasts are in luck, as the hotel also has a multifunctional gym with cardio, strength, and free training equipment. Overall, the Hyatt Centric is a relaxing hotel to stay in without feeling pressured, and I might choose to stay here often.
