The founder of the bread has won several awards. My favorite bread is the chicken curry bread, and the ah pollo bread that is filled with custard cream and Bo luo skin. As the mid autumn season is coming soon, we have purchased some yam mooncake with single yolk to try. The texture of the yam paste was great. It wasn't too sweet to our liking. It is a great gift for your colleagues and families for this mid autumn festive season.

#singapore There is always a long queue at So Good Char Chan Tang during lunchtime. We queued for around 30 minutes just to get a table. It was almost self-service right from the start - The ordering of food and payment is via the kiosk. Then, wait for your receipt number to appear in the calling board before collection of food at the food counter. Your food might not come together, and you would have to make a couple of trips before your order is fulfilled. As for the food, we enjoyed the Porridge. It tasted quite authentic, somehow similar to Hong Kong taste. The plain chee cheong fun, mixed with a red sauce and sesame sauce was quite special. Overall, the experience at So Good was good.

Broadway American Diner Address: 13 Stamford Road, 01-84B Arcade at The Capitol Kempinski, Singapore Ave. Price per head: S$20 to S$30 I was intrigued by this American-themed restaurant so my friends & I gave it a go after checking-out at Capitol Kempinski. #musteat are the following, which we tried: - Bacon Steak Pancake * We thought the bacon will be served on the side, with the stacked pancakes (we asked our waiter). However, upon serving, we were surprised to see that it wasn’t (refer to the photo). Greens were also served on top of the bacon which was on top of the pancake. Even so, my friend said it works & it’s still delicious. - Buttermilk Chicken & Cheese Burger * Tasty but for the price, I feel that it should have included fries! 😂 - Grilled Black Angus Beef Cheese Burger * My friend wasn’t asked his preferred doneness and it was served well done. Good that the burger wasn’t too dry & it was still juicy and tasty. Again, would’ve been better if steak fries was included. Oddly, they don’t have regular fries even to order separately. Address - Capitol Piazza, 13 Stamford Road, Singapore 178905 At the atrium of Capitol Piazza shopping centre stands many larger-than-life art installations of iconic symbols of Singapore’s culture! There was a Merlion, slices of traditional cakes (also known as “kueh”) and classic coffee (also known as “kopi”). There were also boards describing the history of Capitol Singapore with old photos of the building when it was first established! It was a nice afternoon walk down memory lane here on top of having many instagrammable photo opportunities. Address - Guan's Mee Pok Noodle Shop, Capitol Piazza, 13 Stamford Road, B1-55, Singapore 178905 At the basement level of Capitol Piazza shopping centre is where the delicious Guan’s Mee Pok is! It can get pretty crowded during the peak meal timings as there isn’t much seating space, so do try to avoid those periods. Once you make your order at the entrance counter, you will get your receipt with a queue number. We usually order the original mee pok bowl, which tastes really savoury and spicy, if you add chilli. Only gripe is that the portion is pretty small. There are beauty parlour, wedding planner shops, as well as other service providers along the street . There are several dining options around the capitol Singapore building . They range from cheaper buys such as pastries and bread or dim sum, to higher price range restaurants where you can try out their main courses . It is just a few minutes walk from the city hall train station to reach here . If you happen to be around this area, be sure to visit here .

Chun in chinese means spring. And since it is spring time, isn't it the best time to get Chun Yang Tea? I ordered the osmanthus honey oolong tea and the pudding oolong latte tea. 25% sugar level is just nice with the sweetness of the pudding. The fragrance tea is good and the pearls are chewy soft. Apparently most of the shops have closed down and this is the last chun yang in Sg. Try it before it is gone? #cherryblossom2024

It has its very own style and atmosphere that nowhere where in Singapore can replicate. There are many dining options here. This delightful establishment goes by the name of Optical & Cafe. As a cafe enthusiast, I couldn't resist the temptation to check out this cafe with its irresistible opening promotion of 30% off. The interior design of the cafe caught my attentionwith its timeless black and white colour scheme, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made me step inside without hesitation. This cafe offers a unique twist on the usual fare, combining modern and classic elements to create trendy and flavorful dishes. I decided to indulge in the lasagna, a dish that I absolutely love, and also tried the curry chicken wrap. Although it was microwaved, it still retained its freshness.
