This beach is appropriate for all ages, there is a shallow part that perfect for kids to play in just right where the caves are. This point is sandy or small pebble beach easy for kids sit in and play with the sand. Further down is for those whom are decent swimmers as the ledges to jump off of vary due to the tide. Of course this is a swim/jump into the water at your own risk. The water is at least 15 ft + deep so if you jump in, be aware you swimming into the smaller cove to climb up the rock face, which can be slippery. Overall it’s beautiful day or night. Nighttime will best during a full moon, to have its glow reflect off it terrain. Also from when I went I did not see any restrooms This wonderful spot of Milos Island consists of gray-white volcanic rock formations of many different shapes. It offers a wonderful view and makes you feel like you are walking on the moon. There is a small beach in a sea recess, under the shade of a few small trees. Since the point where you enter the sea from the beach is quite shallow, it is possible to swim by jumping from some safe rocks. If you're going on a sunny day, take into account that the rocks are hot and there is little shade. You can go early to find a shaded area or take an umbrella with you that will protect you from the sun.

Visiting Sarakiniko is spectacular/ breathtaking BOTH in sunset hours or during the day! The experience being surrounded by the white volcanic rocks caused by the salt from the sea water evokes memories of my Grand Canyon tour. (only this is smaller compared to Arizona) I’m equally amazed and speechless as i stood in front of this beach surrounded by the unique shapes of the rocks… Been wanting to visit for a longgggg time, glad i managed to get a ferry from Santorini and did a 4 days stay in Milos island. Klima is one of the striking fishing villages on the Greek island of Milos, with its little white houses built along the water. In the middle of the 19th century these houses were owned by fishermen who used them as second homes and as boathouses. The fishermen usually lived in Plaka and left their boats here along the water. On the lower floor was storage for the boat, while on the top floor was living space and a place for the fisherman to sleep. During the 20th century, however, function of the fishermen's cottages changed and became the second homes for the families of the fishermen. Today, these houses are rented to vacationers. Klima is accessible through Plaka and Trypiti. Unfortunately parking can be difficult to find. You may have to park your car along the road, a hundred meters from the village, and walk by foot to the village. There are no beach bars or taverns. The only public place is the Hotel Panorama, which is slightly higher and a small distance away. Between Klima and Plaka you can see catacombs, which are early Christian tombs, in the tunnels of a mountain. In total, it’s about 200 meters (650 ft) long, where 2,000 Christians from the 2nd to the 6th century are buried. Two hundred meters (650 ft) beyond the catacombs is the ancient theater of Plaka. It was built in the first century BC. Here, too, you will find some columns and other excavations of the ancient city of Milos. Kleftiko is an impressive spot of rock formations that can be reached only by sea. In fact, many excursion boats make the tour of the island and pass by Kleftiko. At first sight, the place will look familiar as it is pictures in most travel guides about the island. Impressive rocks spring up from the sea, forming natural caves and rare geological phenomena. Kleftiko is also known as The Sea Meteora. The legend says that one of the caves in Kleftiko was a pirate hideaway and that they had hidden in there their treasury, but it was never found. The water in Kleftiko is crystal and many people jump from the tour boats to swim. Close to Kleftiko, there is another impressive place of such geological formation, Gerontas. It's like a dream and unforgettable experience. If you don't visit Kleftiko, no use of going to Milos at all. Don't forget to take snorkelling mask! You'll feel literally like in a dream, looking at the underwater world, stones and unbelievable and magical fluorescent colour. Everything feels dreamy, slow, calm, like in paradise. #getgoing2025 Agathi Beach sits within a square-edged bay on the eastern coast of Rhodes. The popularity of its light golden sands is demonstrated by the multiple rows of sun loungers for hire lining the water’s edge. They run from one end of the beach’s 200 metre length to the other almost without break. The beach is popular with families, teens, and couples, which comes not just from its soft sands, but also its crystal clear warm waters. There is no sudden drop off either. Instead, the shallows extend some distance away from the sun loungers, allowing even the youngest beachgoers to enjoy a refreshing dip. Others will enjoy the chance to pull on a mask and snorkel to explore the rock formations which exist below the gentle waves on the right-hand side of Agathi Beach. Agathi Beach is approximately five minutes along a dirt road from Haraki village, via the medieval castle of Feraclos. Behind the beach you’ll also find the fourteenth century whitewashed chapel dedicated to St Nicholas. Facilities at Agathi Beach include free public parking, showers, and toilets, in addition to a range of waterfront tavernas providing refreshments throughout the day.
