Besides Promthep Cape, "Laem Krating" is another place that you can't miss. 🚶🏻♂️How to get there: Pin GPS to Baan Krating Hotel, park your car and walk along the wall down to the beach. Then turn right and walk along the beach for a long time. It will take 30-45 minutes to walk. Some parts of the path are dirt and rocky, quite difficult to walk. Some parts are steep, but the view along the way is beautiful, which helps relieve some of the fatigue (a little bit). It's a pleasant walk and in no time you'll arrive. ☝🏻Recommendations! 1. Wear comfortable sneakers that fit snugly and comfortably. Wear flip flops and walk until you're really tired. Don't do it. 2. Bring water to sip along the way. Laem Krating once in your life, it's like going to Doi In. The distance from the entrance, at the black rock cliff, to the tip of the cape is about 2-3 kilometers, because the path is very zigzag. But there is a car service if you can't walk. The fare is only 100 baht per person. Laem Krating is located in Tambon Karon, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket Province. Start from Baan Krating Resort and walk along the resort's wall down to Nai Harn Beach. Then walk along the beach with alternating rocks. Continue walking until the end of the rocks and you will see a cliff. It takes 15-30 minutes to walk. The path is quite steep, so be prepared. This time, I had the opportunity to practice running the Ocean Trail in reverse, which also passes through important tourist attractions in Phuket, including Phahin Dam, Laem Krating, and Karon Viewpoint. These are located in Karon Subdistrict, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket Province. We started running from Nai Harn Beach > Phahin Dam > Laem Krating > Karon Viewpoint > and finished at Nai Harn Beach. The total distance was 17 km with an accumulated elevation of 985 meters. Phahin Dam is located between Nui Beach and Nai Harn Beach, near Laem Krating. It offers a 360° view and is recommended for sunset viewing in the evening. Karon Viewpoint, also known as the Three Bays Viewpoint, offers a view of three beaches: Kata Noi Beach, Kata Bay, and Karon Beach.

Laem Krating - Phuket A sunset viewpoint that many people say has a great view. It's so beautiful that you have to go there in the evening. Before going, my friend sent me a message to see that I should go there. 🏔️ Before boarding the plane, I thought it would be like hiking in a normal mountain, so I accepted. On the actual day, I followed the GPS until I reached a dead end before the entrance to Ban Krating Resort. I found a car park for 200 baht. If I didn't park, I had to go down and park at the bottom, which I had to walk up a steep path. Oh, people like me, I have to pay for it. 🥹 The price isn't that gentle. After starting to walk along the side of the hotel, I came to the beach. I started walking along the rocks by the sea, jumping from small and large rocks continuously. I recommend shoes that protect your feet because you have to walk firmly and not flip-flops, or you might slip. Walk until you reach the grassy area. Warning: It is not recommended to pull on the grass to hold it in place while walking. The grass is not strong enough to support your weight. Just walk along the path. The path is quite steep and narrow. If you can handle it, go all the way to the end. As for us, we couldn't do it~ Plus we had to hurry down because we were going to miss our flight. Life 😂 The soundtrack at that time was "Runnnnnn" 🏃🏻♀️ Let's just say we walked until we were satisfied and found a beautiful spot, then stop and don't force ourselves to think about the time when we'll get off. 💚 And the motivation for walking was our fellow travelers, both the people we just met and the people we were with, because along the way we would hear "Can we go that way?" "Is it far?" "Keep fighting, it's far. As for me, I'm not going." "Go that way, go straight ahead." "Come this way, come along, come along." This place was really great. As a Norwegian, I like to work a bit before enjoying the treasure at the end 😅 At Cape Crating, you have two options. You can, and in my opinion, should walk along the beach and take the path that leads up to the top. It's a fantastic scenic hike and quite easy to walk. I just used slippers but I recommend shoes. It gets a bit steep at the end but they've put in ropes to make it easier to climb. They can also be used to go down more safely. Make sure to start at least an hour before sunset. And don't stay too long if you want to go back the same way, because it gets quite dark. A great place for hiking 🥾 There is no charge and you can go for free. It's not too far and very easy to get to with Google Maps. Amazing sunset🌅 I really liked this place😍. Fantastic view It only takes a few minutes to walk along the beach area and along the rocks. Keep walking and there are even more spectacular views ahead, with nice cool fresh air blowing a bit. It's good to hike in the morning. There aren't many people around so you can enjoy the scenery peacefully. So good. I will definitely come back
