[2025 Bali Attraction] Travel Guide for Canggu Beach (Updated Jun)

Visited canggu bali for a day & started off with brunch at Milk & madu. They serve AMAZING cafe food & i had a pleasant surprise. They had a live band there as well, beautiful ambience. Followed by brunch, we headed to batu bolong beach for some surfing which unexpectedly ended early as we got injured. Not really recommended for surfing due to high reef rocks everywhere. Later on, we went to the lawn & la brisa (beach clubs jumping) to chill and relax for the remaining day. Wanted to catch some nice sunset but bad weather prevented us to catch a good sunset but it was a rather chill day which we all enjoyed. Had tons of cocktail & food, however slightly overrated. #canggu #bali #surfing #beachclub

Atlas Beach Club Located in Canggu, Bali Probably the most congested area in all of Bali So it is recommended to stay nearby for 2-3 days so you can avoid traffic jams Admission to Atlas is around $120 hkd including a duck drink I went over there at about 4:30 and it was really super beautiful If several people can book a table order sunbed Price is around $300-$400 per person You can sit there all the way to eat and drink and watch the sunset 👍 With the pile of his land is a locker for rent and also washrooms and bathrooms are quite clean Overall this experience was super good will definitely go again😎 #Balibeachclub

Ordered an omelette with bread and the portion was huge ! There was a long queue though, so be prepared to come slightly earlier to have a seat if you’re dining in. Butterman offers a wide range of various pastries to choose from. The croissant was buttery and has the best texture - a crispy and flaky exterior while being soft inside. The tips is to make sure they warm the croissant first. Bali is such a magical Island in Indonesia. It is the home of many tourists because of its beautiful nature. Sunsets in Bali are so beautiful especially when enjoyed at the beach. The 1st and 3rdSlide is the Canggu beach, 2nd,9th and 10th is the Lovina Beach, the rest is one among the Uluwatu Beaches. Overall my favorite sunset spot is in Uluwatu, the southern part of Bali. Great beach for surfers! Personally, the beach is too commercialized for me. everything is quite expensive and there’s lots club music at many locations. however it’s a pretty beach and at night the black sand was glittering!!! I had never seen that before and was entranced! The shops/cafes/restaurants in the area are super cute and kinda fancy. for honeymoons or dates it’s the perfect are. There’s also two famous clubs on the beach. I’d say it’s worth a day trip but not worth staying near if you’re more into peaceful or nature vibes. #canggu #bali

This is a fairly new place in Bali. They got beach club with entry fee, and also food fest where you can visit for free. The concept was nice, but I think there need to be more F&Bs at the food fest. And they need to open the stalls at the opening hour, because when I went there many stalls weren't open just yet. Oh and they had a Kids Corner room for your kids to play while you chill or enjoy your meals! #bali

We booked an R section table prior and was lucky to be given a table up front with unblock view of the ocean. The beach was bustling with activities, surfers, beach goers and families were seen having a good time. Our group of 4 adult and 1 child didnt have a hard time to meet the min spending of 1.5m IDR. I would say the prices here were pretty decent. Both food and drinks were good too. Highly recommended!

this is one of the most popular beaches in Bali, especially for surfing and sunbathing. there are lots of restaurants and beach bars along the beach. I stayed in Canggu for 2 weeks, I came here almost every single morning and every single evening for sunset. the Sunsets here are absolutely stunning. there are some parties going on at night as well, we normally come as a group of friends chilling on the beach or sitting on those bean bags just having coconut. for intermediate surfers, it’s also a great spot, sometimes you have great waves, not every day but most of the time. meanwhile, this is also a good place for jogging, there are lots of activities you can do here. most of the backpackers or young people who looking for some good vibes and parties will come here. so if you’re looking for this, i strongly recommended to come here #passionpassport #staycation #gooutside #summervacation

My favorite bar in Canggu is X Bar, they have great bands, I especially liked D Uncle cause they are very friendly and they sound great. If you’re not a pro surfer, book a surf lesson from one of the surf guides on the beach. See if you’re any good 😃 🏨 Hotels - I recommend choosing small boutique hotels over world known brands here. It is very lovely and much cozier. I stayed in a small pretty place called Sekoleko Guest House and it was really, really nice because of its location overlooking the rice fields. 🍲 Food & Restaurants - There are plenty of decent restaurants near the beach, you can also walk into hotel and pay for a hotel buffet and eat until you’re too full. 🛍 Shopping - Canggu is a great place for shopping, buying surf gear or cute outfits. There are many shops located towards Eco Beach as well you can check out. One of the most popular places in 2020 in Canggu Bali. The decor and interior are so pretty, inspired by the Bohemian style, which must be really pretty to take pictures of! The concept of the restaurant is outdoor. The food is also complete and varied, also available for vegan menus. For the price, it is relatively expensive, equivalent to the price of cafes in Jakarta. I only ordered snacks and young coconut drink. The toilet is very beautiful and clean, the location is also easy to find because it is on the side of the road and very eye catching. Motorcycle and car parking are available in front of the cafe. Best time to visit here: late afternoon near sunset. #summervacation Amazing beach and surfspot!! Is very consistent and waves are high quality, especially on early morning and sunset!!! The beach is really big and can surf different spots!! The bottom is sand and the best waves and barrels are on the left side near sand bar!! Clean beach with black sands. This place is perfect for sunset hunting. The wave is good for beginner surfer. We can rent a parasol and beds for a fairly cheap price. Mostly decorated with corals. Beware, there are lots of undetected sea urchins on the shore. Also beware of wild dogs, some of them poo on the sand. Always pay attention on where you will step, or you will ended up stepping on poo. #summervacation#beachvacation
