Candeo Hotels Nankai Wakayama I stayed here when I went on a trip to Wakayama in September. Candeo Hotel is directly connected to Nankai Wakayamashi Station, so it's very convenient for sightseeing! The hotel also has a coin laundry, large public bath, and open-air bath, so it was perfect for relaxing after sightseeing. The tourist spots I enjoyed in Wakayama were around Wakayama Castle. Wakayama Castle is a 5-stop bus ride (about 4 minutes) from Nankai Wakayamashi Station. In addition to the castle, Wakayama Castle also has a zoo on the premises. Admission to the zoo is free! There is also a feeding experience (fee required). The castle and the zoo are tourist spots that both children and adults can enjoy. There are also many restaurants near Wakayama Castle, and VENTOTTO, where you can eat parfaits and cakes made with fresh fruits from Wakayama, was very delicious. It's convenient for both sightseeing and work😊 The view from the hotel is great! The view from the room was good, and the breakfast area also had a great view✨ The rooms are spacious! I stayed in a room with a balcony, so it felt even more spacious❤️ The hotel itself is clean and quiet! The staff were all very polite😊 The rooftop sky spa is incredibly relaxing with a great sense of openness! It seems you can also come just to use the bath🥰

#August2024 Today we had a day trip to Wakayama. Due to an accident on the JR line, the train was delayed for two hours, so we quickly visited a few attractions. Buy a one-day bus ticket when you arrive 1. Wakayama Castle: Located on Mount Torabashi, this peaceful mountaintop castle is one of the three largest connected flat mountain castles in Japan. Although it was rebuilt, its simplicity and elegance can still be seen. Climb to the top floor and you will have a panoramic view of Wakayama City. 2. Wakayama Yacht City: Surrounded by the sea, it is an island resort. It would be more pleasant to take a hot bath facing the sea when you have time. 3. Europa Port: Admire the streetscape that imitates the European style. 4. Kuroshio Market: After watching the fish-cutting show, you can still enjoy a delicious sashimi meal, stroll along the long sea-view trail, and sit on the embankment to watch the sunset, which is even more beautiful. 5. #cherryblossom2024 Hotel Candeo Nankai Wakayama is one of the affordable hotel to stay with the beautiful view . The room is cosy it also come with the bath robe . Bed is comfortable and loving the window view of the hotel. Services was top notch, staffs are friendly and attentive , the breakfast was delicious . Loving the vibes of the hotel will come back and stay again . Recommended if you come for cherry blossom.

This is the Wakayama branch of the famous Japanese chain Candeo Hotel. The hotel is connected to Nankai Wakayama Station, so transportation is convenient, and there are shopping centers and restaurants all below, so it is the best hotel for a staycation. The view from the guest room is also the point where the sea and the river are connected, and it boasts a train view, and the room itself is very spacious and has a sofa to enjoy the view, so it was the best.
