The most luxurious domestic minsu village that designers must visit
Reluctant to leave · Yema Ling
No. 7, Malingjiao Village, Yuzhai Township, Pujiang County, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province
"A 600-year-old ancient village nestled between mountains and rivers, neither Jiangnan nor literati, but wild. Here, time may not be a straight line, the new and old sing together, arriving in the past, but also the future.
A| Guest rooms:
The minsu has 77 guest rooms, renovated from 26 old houses, scattered and private. Each room has its own name. We stayed in Guangjia 20D, which has a very Zen window view. The interior walls of the guest rooms are made of high-quality yellow mud, retaining the original simplicity of the building. The interior facilities are of high quality, far exceeding the five-star standard, with Simmons mattresses, brass hardware, and even the shower room handles are covered with horsehair fur, echoing the theme of Yema Ling. The room also has a small dehumidifier, so you don't have to worry about the room being damp.
| Food:
Yema Ling was created by Wu Guoping, the founder of Waipojia, so the food service is even more important. The minsu has a restaurant - Tangqian, a bar, and a coffee shop - Xixiang. In the morning, the hotel provides a hearty breakfast, 7:30-10:00. The local rice wine steamed buns are very good, you can try them. For lunch, we had it at the minsu restaurant. For 10 people, it cost around 750 yuan. The taste and value for money are very high. If you want a change of taste, you can also go to the Yema Ling Farm Restaurant at the entrance. The taste is home-cooked, and it is also very good. It will be cheaper than inside, about 350 yuan. You can choose. You can also bring some snacks, there is a small convenience store at the entrance.
| Experience
The service is the strongest I've experienced. No matter what you need, just contact the housekeeper. As long as the housekeeper sees it, they will reply in seconds and deliver it in minutes. After breakfast, you can wander around the minsu, breathe fresh air, or write calligraphy in the glass room. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool with a pavilion next to it. This is our main activity spot. You can play games, drink and chat here. When you're tired of playing, you can go swimming. When you're tired of swimming, you can lie down in the pavilion and stare blankly. It rained lightly during our stay. Lying by the pool, looking at the distant mountains and the drifting clouds, this is the slow life of a designer.
I| Transportation
Driving from Shanghai, we took about 4 hours on holidays, including rest stops. You can also take the high-speed rail directly, and there is a special housekeeper to pick you up, which is very convenient.
