Songdo Bay Station
#koreatrip A well designed experience start to finish. You can take a cable car that has a regular opaque or glass bottom and cross over to the other side where there is a full on nature walk, cafe and street food-style vendors.
The glass bottom isn’t worth the extra to be honest as most of the time you’re over water and you lack the visual context to realize how high up you are. Most of the time you are looking around, not down.
You can easily spend 3-4 hours here.

Beaches, seaside cafes, sea trains... Experience a different kind of seaside trip with a fresh and small vibe~
If it's your first time in Busan, I recommend playing like this:
🍃🍃
✅Itinerary:
Busan Station→Songdo→Gamcheon Culture Village→Baekcheon Beach Culture Village→Gijeong (Café)→Busan Gwangalli Beach→Cheongsapo Capsule Train→Coastal Train→Haeundae Beach
(Adjustable according to time and accommodation location)
💚Go to 'Haeundae Beach! Play in the water and watch performances
Haeundae is the most representative beach in Busan, and it is relatively well-known. The location is convenient, and you can walk from nearby accommodations
to stroll, watch the sea, and feel the breeze~
💜Take a ride on the 'Capsule Train' and 'Coastal Train'
These are popular check-in spots in Busan recently. The colorful trains shuttle between the blue sea and sky, very healing. Cheongsapo also has the nickname of 'Little Kamakura' in Korea, and friends who like fresh and small check-in spots must come and experience~
🧡The capsule train is a capsule that travels on a sky track, and it feels like something out of a comic book when the weather is good~
💛The coastal train is a colorful train that travels along the coastal railway on the ground. Both riding and observing from a distance offer different beautiful views~
☕️Go to 'Gijeong' for a cup of seaside coffee. When in Korea, of course, you have to drink coffee~
This three-story seaside café is a favorite spot for many young ladies to take photos. Enjoy the wonderful view of the blue sea from the rooftop, terrace...
🏠Take a look at the colorful little houses in 'Baekcheon Beach Culture Village!'
Come for the famous colorful houses on the cliff, and there are also many stylish seaside cafes. It's close to Gamcheon Culture Village, so you can visit both. I love wandering through the small alleys by the sea at sunset, loving this peaceful holiday romance~
⛱️Go for a seaside stroll in 'Songdo'
The romance of summer, watching the sea in Busan is half the fun.
The Songdo scenic area is actually quite large, with beautiful coastlines. You can walk along the seaside boardwalk, take the sea cable car, or visit Yonggungsa Bridge by cable car~
🚉Transportation guide:
✈️Busan Gimhae International Airport
🚄KTX Seoul-Busan round trip (2.5h)
💳Transportation card T-money (usable in both Seoul and Busan)
▶️Essential apps:
NAVER Map, kakaomap translation, Korea Metro Storage

Beautiful Hotel in Songdo
Me and my other 4 friends was amazed by the ocean ever since we got there! It was our first time in Busan, and it’s definitely one of the best choices that we picked here to stay for our first night! Also the staff were beyond helpful for letting us smoothly left our luggage there, easy to communicate with as well!
Very recommended👍🏻

Busan Bound | Gazing at the Sea
Gazing at the Sea. The first stop for a family trip in South Korea, Busan. The flight distance from Shanghai to Busan is quite short, only an hour and a half. After getting off the plane, we took a taxi to a hotel near Busan Station, the Wyndham Ankor Ramada Hotel in Busan. We stayed at this hotel for the entire three-day itinerary in Busan, which is conveniently close to various attractions and the train station.
🗓 Itinerary:
Day1 Busan Station, Busan Tower
Day2 Skyluge, Haeundae Beach, Capsule Train
Day3 Gamcheon Culture Village, BIFF Square, Busan Songdo Marine Cable Car
🚉 Travel Tips:
1. The T money card is similar to the domestic transportation card, making it really convenient to take buses and subways.
2. Download a navigation app called NAVER in Korea, which provides real-time traffic information, similar to Amap in China. It's very convenient and useful, especially when you can't understand Korean. Relying on it to take the bus and not miss your stop is great

My Trip at Songdo Beach in Busan
#localescapes
Songdo Beach was a representative beach in Gyeongsangbuk-do, but it was closed due to intensifying erosion of the white sand beach, and has been developed as a tourist destination again since 2012.
The name Songdo was created after one letter each from Bundo, the name of the island at the entrance where the Hyeongsangang River meets the East Sea, and Songjeong-dong, the original administrative district name of the beach area. Even now, Songdo-dong is mostly made up of islands and is connected to the land through four bridges.

Cable Car over the Sea, Busan Korea
Busan is attractive for many reasons. It arguably has the best beach of Korea; Haendae beach. Other the beaches the city is also famous for various kinds of activities. Most of the travellers who visit Busan include taking Songdo Marine Cable Car which runs over a small bay which means you actually travel over the sea when you you' re on board. The cable car is also avilable in transparent glass floor which lets you have a direct glance of the sea underneath. The terminal end of the cabale car route is a small peninsula which house various other recreational activities, especially for children. The two way trip is quite reasonable in price also and if you are travelling as a group it is even more economical.

Songdo Sea Cable Car.
The sea cable car between Songlin Park and Yanan Park was first installed in Korea in 1964. After being dismantled in 1988, it debuted again after 29 years. There are two kinds of
marine cable cars, one is the ordinary cable car, the other is the crystal cable car, or the bottom of the car is transparent glass.
Crystal cable car round-trip 20,000 won (120 yuan), one-way 16,000 won
normal cable car round-trip 15,000 won (90 yuan), one-way 12,000 won.
When we bought the cable car ticket, the young lady who sold the ticket also said that there is no public transportation connection on the other side. I can only walk back with my legs. We can only give up with the sushi. A round-trip ticket.
If you have enough time, you can buy a one-way ticket, take the cable car to the park, and then slowly come back, the park on the other side of the cable car is also beautiful~
