Kids would have fun here even though it is just a small waterpark. The facilities are well maintained. There are slides, Boomerang, wave pool, rain shower, river safari and more. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Quite a number of lifeguards around. Outside food is not allowed. Even though there was a limited dining option in the park, there was a food street outside the waterpark, I recommend Nasi Goreng USA and Cekodok Pisang, so delicious. Please note that once you come out, you are not allowed to re-enter the waterpark, unless you are staying in the resort, and the reason for coming out is to check out the hotel. It’s a park that’s perfect for a day’s retreat together with your loved ones. Situated at Taiping (1hour from Ipoh Perak), Bukit Merah Laketown Waterpark lets you unwind and have tons of splashing fun with its water rides. It is just an old school water park which is abit rundown. However, the ticket price is cheaper than sunway lagoon ticket, so can't complaint about the place. Ample of parking spaces are available. The food sold in the waterpark is just normal... nothing fancy to shout about. Kids may like this place very much. Hope the hygienic condition can be improved next time especially during covid.
