Buddha Park is one of the largest and most beautiful parks in the city of Vientiane. This place is not located in down town, however It can be reached easily by taxi or public transport. The recommended sightseeing time is half an hour or maximum one hour. Bring comfortable walking shoes because you will be moving around/standing for long times. Also plenty of water is esential to hydrate constasntly as this place feels extreme hot. This place is truly amazing. Entrance is not expensive at all. The park is located 25km from Vientiane centre. I did the trip by bicycle, but it's not recommended. Road is boring and lots of dust beside the burning sun. Entrance to the park is 15.000 kip and then you will see hundreds of statues in a nice and well maintained park (not to big) with some flowers and benches .
