The pulse of traditional music discovered in the educational exhibition hall🇰🇷

After finishing the workshop, I discovered the "Joseon Meets Sound" corner located on the north side of the exhibition hall. In this space, I was able to play the janggu and gayageum myself. At first, my hands were clumsy and the sound was a mess, but after a simple coaching from the staff, I succeeded in playing the melody of "Arirang"!!!! In particular, the interactive experience where the sounds of traditional instruments were combined when you danced on the vibration-detecting smart floor was refreshing. It was so much fun.
📌 Additional tips for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Rhythm matching game → Hit the janggu to the rhythm presented on the tablet (3 rounds free)
Hidden item: Key ring shaped like a traditional instrument in the corner of the experience room (7,000 won) → The tuning fork design makes a bell sound when you shake it
Recommended snack: Buckwheat pancake + jujube tea set (8,000 won) on the outdoor terrace on the first floor → Effective in calming hand tremors after experiencing the instrument
🚨 Don't miss it
Headphones are required for the instrument experience (blocking out surrounding noise)
Socks are recommended for the smart floor experience (no shoes)
Check the sound level when purchasing a key ring (the actual resonance level Each)
By the time I left the experience room, I found out that I could receive the sound source of "Arirang" that I played with a QR code. When I listened to the sound source at home, it didn't sound professional, but my 240bpm janggu rhythm had a unique charm. Now I set this sound source as my alarm sound and start every morning with the pulse of Joseonㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
