Bozhou Museum is very close to Bozhou Railway Station and was built in 1958. Many cultural relics unearthed from local monuments in Bozhou are collected in the museum. Many tourists may not know Bozhou, and Bozhou Museum is a good place to learn about Bozhou's history and present. The appearance of Bozhou Museum imitates the architecture of the Han Dynasty. Statues of celebrities related to Bozhou, such as Shang Tang, Cao Cao, and Hua Tuo, are erected at the entrance. Entering the museum, there are two floors, the second floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and the first floor is the main exhibition hall. Generally, tourists visit the regular exhibition on the first floor with the theme of "Traveling Through Five Thousand Years-Searching for the Source of Bozhou Culture". The exhibits are arranged in chronological order from prehistoric civilization to modern times. The prologue hall is a hall with a large oracle bone model of the word "Bo". The Wohe Civilization Exhibition Hall in the museum talks about the prehistoric civilization discovered in the Wohe River Basin, the mother river of Bozhou. The Shang Tang Du Bo Exhibition Hall introduces that King Tang, the founder of the Shang Dynasty, built his capital in Bozhou. The Daoyuan Holy Land Exhibition Hall introduces that Laozi, Zhuangzi, and Chen Tuan are all from Bozhou. Because these histories are too far away, the objects on display are some bottles, stone fragments, simple jade pieces, and cultural relics unearthed from local attractions in Bozhou, such as the Tang Wang Mausoleum and the Zhuangzi Temple in Mengcheng County, which are all relatively simple. The Han and Wei Fenggu Exhibition Hall is worth a visit, and all the "collection of fine works" are here. Bozhou is the hometown of Cao Cao. This exhibition hall mainly displays cultural relics unearthed from Cao Cao's family tomb. There are silver thread jade clothes, Han Badao jade pigs made of Hetian jade, bronze pigs that look similar to modern Russian pigs, and a pair of jade Gangmao with a length and width of 1 cm and a height of less than 3 cm but engraved with delicate texts, and other priceless cultural relics. The Tianxia Wangzhou Exhibition Hall introduces that Bozhou is located on a major transportation route and was one of the "Ten Wangzhous" in the Tang Dynasty. The sixth exhibition hall, Boshang Market, introduces the prosperous trade in Bozhou from the Northern Song Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The porcelain on display has bright colors, the bronze mirrors are very exquisite, and the gold has hollow patterns. The sixth exhibition hall also arranges a small section of the old street of Ming and Qing Dynasties, with shops on both sides. Ordinary tourists may think that the exhibition hall and the items on display from Tang and Song Dynasties are quite beautiful. The modern and contemporary Bozhou exhibition hall introduces the history of Bozhou's modern anti-Japanese war, displays the banknotes and identity cards of the time, as well as Bozhou's local paper-cutting, folk art, the Five Animals Play invented by Bozhou native Hua Tuo and other traditional cultures, as well as modern Bozhou's well-known industries Gujing wine, Chinese materials, automobile industry and coal mining industry.
