Weekend getaway to Manila!
Spent my weekend at Manila. It has been quite some time since I visited Manila. This round with my baby together. 😍 Tasted some real authentic Filipino food and did some cafe hopping. We also went to the Bonitacio High Street city walk. The buildings design are fabulous. Some said that Philippines is dangerous, I should say it really depends. Anyway I enjoyed and really in love with this kind of spontaneous short trip. #couplestrip #weekendvibe

Address - 7th Ave Cor 25th street, Taguig
Ambiance/Facilities - Once you enter the cafe, you’ll smell the fresh coffee grounds beans. Very relaxed vibes.
Highlights - We went here for a coffee run around 8PM. Surprisingly, there was not much people. I’d recommend their cafe latte and spanish iced latte as a start. They also have cookies for a treat

Bonifacio High Street is a mixed-use development in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Great place to hang out and chill. There are some nice seating spaces scattered throughout the strip.
📸 Great view. Great ambience. IG-able spots.

KIWAMI
Kiwami is the place to be if you want to experience Japan through a wide variety of Food---from appetizer to dessert. As you enter the place, it is literally a food hall which is like in Japan (never been there but my friend told me that that's how Japan resto looks like). They have this Katsudon set which I think the most valuable choice since everything is on one tray---soup, fruit, carbs, veggies and the katsudon itself plus their DIY sesame sauce. Their service is also superb and they make sure that you enjoy the experience with them. They also make sure to maintain standards as they always ask for a survey after your meal.

Be like the High Class at BGC
Getting There - We just rode a Grab to and from our Home. However, you can also ride the Free Carousel Bus at EDSA and drop off at Ortigas. Then, ride a taxi or a jeepney to reach it. You can also walk it by foot if you'd like to as there are many fitness and health enthusiast residents in the area so you won't be embarassed. It will take around 30 minutes though.
Attractions - Lots of beautiful, modern sculptures and attractions, and malls. Venice Piazza Grand Canal and SM Aura are just a 15minutes walk.
Hotels - There are a lot of condominiums and hitels around Bonifacio Global City where you may check in or do a staycation such as South of the Market Residences
Food & Restaurants - There are a lot of food options here, more than what you can think of, but expect that only mostly high end restaurants are here because the area is dubbed as the High End place for the High Class due to its very modern and commercialized properties. For us, we ate at the cheapest restaurant with a Michelin Star called Hawker Chan and it was top tier!
Shopping - Aside from Bonifacio High Street, SM Aura and Market! Market! are also nearby and offers local and international shops that you can choose from. From their department stores to High Class or Expensive Clothing and Shoes brands, and more!

#holidayvacation BGC is one of the most posh places in Manila. It’s a popular and high-end business district with plenty of business activities and areas for shopping, dining, and entertainment. For posh malling experience, Burgos Circle, Uptown Bonifacio and The Grand Canal at McKinley Hill are great places. The Grand Canal also has that Italian feel in it and you can enjoy riding the gondola. Bonifacio High Street is an outdoor shopping and dining strip with shops at both side of the pedestrian street which has a relaxing park-like vibe. #merryxmas

La Picara Manila
You must try this up and about hip restaurant along Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City. La Picara, this is a restaurant you would surely want to visit and revisit. Their great blend of Filipino and Spanish cuisine is just a delight. We ordered their bone marrow and paella negra to kick off our lunch blues. Please be wary though as prices per meal costs about Php 800 pesos but it’s all worth it! #foodie

Largest 3D LED Display in the Metro
This digital billboard, which covers 400 square meters of multimedia display in One Bonifacio High Street (close to the Philippines Stocks Exchange building and Shangri-la the Fort), is the Philippines’ version of iconic screens in New York City’s Times Square and Tokyo’s Shibuya Crossing.

THE FURRY GUARDS OF BGC
These are the noble and mighty furry guards of bonifacio global city. These felines are all around the area and they are not total strays. In fact, they are well-fed by volunteers and residents, well-groomed, and regularly taken to the vet. That is why they do not encourage petting or feeding them. However, how can we resist a little bit if petting them and helping them on scratching their backs? They are absolutely adorable and I actually saw a post about them on Social Media. It seems they all are numbered or have names so that the volunteers can track them and see if anyone has been catnapped or something. It was absolutely fun to see in person. I promise though, we just pet them for less than a minute and as you can see, I know their hidden spots so I'm sure they loved them and wanted more. Good thing I saw the post right after. But they were just so cute! Please don't sue or do the other things mentioned in the poster! #bucketlistreboot #mytripvlog
