Sham Shui Po was once the world of the garment industry, but now it is full of Hong Kong-style cafes.
In the past, Kei Lung Street, Nam Cheong Street, Yu Chau Street and Tai Nan Street in Sham Shui Po were the domain of the garment manufacturing industry. Whether you are a student studying textiles or a merchandiser/buyer working in the clothing industry, you have left a lot of footprints on these four streets.

There are only a few cloth shops and fabric stores left here these days, and the streets are not as busy as they used to be.
There is a cloth-themed cafe here. As someone who has a soft spot for cloth, I decided to check it out.

As you step into the restaurant, you will see that one of the walls is braided with different fabrics, such as satin, chiffon, mesh, etc. The wall of the semi-block seat is also hung with strips of bare satin cloth, and the menu is displayed in the image of a cloth card. These decorations remind me of my previous life.

HK$88 Strawberry cheese croissant waffle with ice cream ~ Using croissants 🥐 instead of waffles 🧇, perfect. One bite and you can feel the unique crispness and butter aroma of the croissant. Paired with the slightly sour strawberry cheese, it doesn't feel greasy at all.
-
HK$50 Earl Grey Latte - When the waiter put down the latte, the bergamot aroma of Earl Grey was fragrant, the tea soup was smooth in the mouth, with a refreshing taste and a long aftertaste.
A cup of Latte, a dessert, an afternoon, that's my life. It doesn't need to be grand, just simple and plain.
