Therefore, it is recommended to bring canned oxygen, sweet snacks, or even plain water with you. Additionally, food is important. You can purchase meals or snacks before taking the cable car up the mountain. At the entrance where you board the bus to the cable car, there are numerous food shops offering a variety of options. If your ticket time hasn’t arrived yet, you can buy food or sit and enjoy a meal in this area. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang is considered one of the closest snow-capped mountains to Thailand. It takes only a 2-hour flight from Thailand to reach this stunning destination. The highest peak of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain stands at an impressive altitude of 4,680 meters. To ascend via the Yulong Cable Car, also known as the large cable car, visitors must first take a shuttle bus from the entrance. Before boarding the bus, you’ll need to pass through a baggage scan and ticket check. Note that entry is based on the time specified on your ticket, and during holidays, you may have to wait in line for quite a while. Once on the shuttle bus, it will take you to the large cable car station. Each cable car accommodates up to 8 passengers, and the ride is relatively quick. However, if you wish to reach the highest point, you’ll need to continue walking along the designated path. The final stretch of the trail is slightly steep.

#One-day trip plan Where did you go in Lijiang? Let's share with you. 📍Dragon Snow Mountain Woke up at 4 am because the cable car left at 6 am. The weather was very cold, so I wore 3 layers of clothes. I took a car from my accommodation and changed to the park's bus to the cable car station. The wind was very strong and the cable car stopped for a while. Luckily, I was able to go up. When I reached the top, they closed the viewpoint, so I could only take pictures around the cable car station. It was snowing heavily. I stayed there for about 40 minutes, so I went down. 📍Baishuihe Lake I took the park's bus to get off and then took a golf cart. The view was very beautiful, worthy of being a 5A tourist attraction. I stopped to take a picture with a yak for 50 yuan. 📍Lijiang Impressions Show I watched at 1:30 pm. The weather was quite hot and there was light rain. There were a lot of people, but I thought the show was just so-so. I didn't feel excited because I probably couldn't understand it. It was in Chinese. Left our hotel at Shuhe ancient town at 730am to catch a sight of the sunrise en-route to the snow mountain. Headed up the glacier park cable car at 9am and it was a nice fulfilling challenge going up the stairs to reach the peak viewing platform at the high altitude. Headed down in the late morning for the blue moon valley and had a budget lunch buffet at the Snow Kitchen, before rushing off for the 250pm Impression Lijiang show. Found a good for value package on trip.com for the package above (excluding transport from ancient town).
