Black sand beach, Langkawi, the city cursed by Queen Masuri 😜 Even though the 7th generation descendant, a Phuket girl, went to break the curse 🇲🇾, but some parts of the beach are still black. The long, straight beach 🌊 is beautiful, the sand is fine and the black color looks strange. Came very early, there was no sun yet and there were no tourists at all 🇲🇾🤪#Black sand beach

There seems to be a legend that the place was burnt to get rid of enemy attack leaving the sand black. But, actually its black coz of Volcanic activity. The view was spectacular, I loved this beach better than Cenang Beach. This place looks awesome in photos. There are no water sports or any activities available here. There are couple of restaurants and shopping places. I have been to may beaches but this was the first time I was at a black sand beach. One just admire the beauty of the beach and nature. Also the place is not crowded at all, so you can sit and enjoy and take pics in free time. although it may look dirty because its black sand but its very clean and a marvelous beauty.
