Charming Bijiashan Park Shenzhen
#celebratewithtrip
#mytripvlog
One thing I like about China, they have many public parks everywhere and this is how they build parks nowadays. Birds are migrating here because of the big manmade lake. You can see big and small birds singing in the tress. Can picnic, sitting up tent, jogging, play badminton here. You must visit this if you are in Shenzhen

Beautiful Shenzhen Park
Shenzhen has no shortage of parks, in face it is officially one of China’s ‘green cities’ because of the sheer abundance of parks, mountains and nature based spots around the city. The problem with some of these parks is that they can become supremely busy, especially on a sunny weekend, parks such as Lianhuashan can be a madhouse of activity, which is nice, but not if you want a quiet escape. One such o#urbanexplorer summervacation tion is Bijia Hill or Bijiashan Park. This is one of the bigger parks in the city, but also one of the quietest. And it is, at least in my opinion, one of the better choices for a quiet break from the hustle and bustle of downtown Shenzhen.##

Bijiashan Park, Shenzhen
Bijiashan mountain park is a beautiful, quiet and quite large park found near the center of shenzhen, it is close to Lianhuacun subway station and has multiple entrances around its perimeter. Its primary feature is a river running down its length into a series of plant filled lakes in the south. There are many paths winding throughout the park, with many small pagodas, seating areas, rock formations, art pieces and flower beds around the park to see and experience. There are many bridges crossing the river and some boardwalks that go through the river reeds and down into the lakes. Most of the park include a bike path except part of the park which is still under construction. Some of the paths lead up to a mountain top vista area where you can get a great view of much of the city.

Don't want to travel far? Come to Bijia Mountain and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Shenzhen!
Bijia Mountain is located in Futian District, with two small peaks, one called Biguan Peak, the other called Bijun Peak. This place is conveniently accessible and is especially suitable for those who like outdoor activities but don't want to spend too much time on the road.
Address: Meigang Road, Futian District, Shenzhen
Tickets: Free!
Opening hours: 6:00—23:00
Transportation: Line 6, Line 9 Yinhulake Station Exit B, Line 7 Huangmugang Station Exit C. Bus M417 Yinhulake Station, M584 Yinhulake Station. Drive directly to 'Bijia Mountain Park'
Travel Tips
Yinhulake Exit B👉North Gate of Bijia Mountain Forest Park👉Century Forest👉Walk halfway down the main road👉Climb the stairs👉Biguan Peak, enjoy the breeze and view from the large platform👉Exit from the East Gate👉Huangmugang Subway Station
The main activity in Bijia Mountain is leisurely walking. It's suitable for taking children to play, but if you want to reach the top of the mountain, you need to climb stairs. So far, Bijia Mountain is still considered the easiest mountain to hike in Shenzhen.

The flower exhibition in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is so beautiful and romantic, it's worth seeing again even without me
I am truly not deceived, wow, it's so beautiful! Everything looks heart-stirringly pretty even in casual photos. I've attached the strongest guide and a detailed map (on the last page), so everyone can avoid taking the wrong path, quickly check in, and enjoy a wonderful photography experience.
📍Address: Near the campsite of Bijia Mountain Park Sports Park
📅Opening hours: March 23 to April 1, 2024
🎫No reservation or purchase of tickets required
Below is my detailed guide: Please note that Bijia Mountain is quite large, and the flower exhibition is mainly concentrated in the sports park area on the southwest side. If you enter from the south gate or walk over from the third-floor corridor of Shum Yip Upperhills, you can avoid taking the wrong path.
The exhibition areas on Bijia Mountain are relatively concentrated, with all attractions along one road. It takes only 10 minutes to see everything, so you won't feel tired. From south to north, the sequence is:
1. Corporate Garden
2. Mini Garden
3. Student Garden
4. Flower Show Arena
5. Bay Area Garden
Among them, the iconic scroll scenery belongs to the 'Mini Garden' area (as shown in picture 17), with beautiful foxtail grass nearby.
If you're driving, it's recommended to park at Shum Yip Upperhills and then walk over from the third-floor corridor. If you're taking the subway, you can take Line 10 to Dongguanling Station, then walk to Shum Yip Upperhills, and head north from the south gate.
Compared to it, the exhibition at Lotus Mountain is not as pretty as Bijia Mountain, but if you have plenty of time, you can also go there to take a look.
The above is the detailed guide I have provided for you. I hope it helps. Just pass through Shum Yip Upperhills and you'll be able to see it! Remember to bring your camera to capture these beautiful flowers and scenery! 💕

Bijiashan Park in Shenzhen! A city viewpoint and sunset hiking guide
Let's do a reverse order for the photos! It's a mountain that you can summit quickly, and it's a great spot for city photography or a comfortable place to watch the sunset~
🔥🔥🔥Guide🔥🔥🔥
1⃣️Hiking: Ascend from the North Gate and descend from the East Gate. There's no admission fee and no time restriction, but be careful when descending at night, follow the path with street lights, and you can always ask the staff at the summit if needed.
2⃣️There are plenty of spots with water and restrooms along the way, so don't worry.
3⃣️It takes about twenty minutes to reach the stairs from the North Gate, and then another twenty minutes or so to climb the stairs to the summit.
4⃣️Descending is quite fast, it took only 18 minutes, so you might also consider ascending from the East Gate, although it's farther from the subway station.
5⃣️There are two peaks:
❤The main peak is Biguan Peak; the secondary peak is Bijun Peak.
❤The main peak offers a better view of the city, it's open and expansive, the middle and bottom of the first photo cover it, and the sunset that follows was viewed from the secondary peak. However, the secondary peak has more tree cover, so you have to zoom in to take pictures.
❤The two peaks are not far apart, but when you reach a platform, you'll have to choose, as they are in two different directions, each taking about 10 minutes to ascend, so if you want to check in at both, be mindful of the time, especially when deciding where to watch the sunset. If you have time in the evening, I recommend the main peak, where the night view is said to be like something out of 'La La Land', but I had to catch a train and didn't have time to photograph the night scene
6⃣️The green photos at the end are all from the main road you'll pass when ascending from the North Gate, the oxygen is really abundant, and the air is so fresh. It rained on and off when we were climbing, so the sunset wasn't as spectacular, but overall it was still nice. If you encounter a rainy day, be careful of slippery roads! Of course, if the weather is bad, it's better not to hike~

Bijia Mountain Park
The park is densely forested with birds singing and flowers fragrant, featuring a spacious man-made ecological area with hills and lakes scattered throughout. The three main peaks stand prominently, resembling a penholder, hence the name. There are various cultural and sports facilities including sparse tree grasslands, tall eucalyptus forests, pine woods, a kite square, a grass rolling ball field, a fishing center, and an exhibition hall. Visitors can freely stroll in the garden, take a break to enjoy the rich natural scenery within, and gaze at the city skyline outside the garden, relishing the tranquility and atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.
A typical European-style garden, it also reflects the original scenery and style. It is an excellent place for citizens to relax and exercise.

Bijiashan Park
Located on the north side of the center of Shenzhen City, adjacent to the Futian central district, south of Sungang Road, west of Huanggang Road, and north of the North Ring Road, Bijiashan Park covers an area of 149 hectares. It is a hilly area with more than a dozen small peaks, among which three main peaks stand east and west, resembling a pen holder, hence the name.
The park's terrain is varied and the scenery is unique, with dense forests, birdsong, and fragrant flowers. The southwest side is an open artificial garden ecological area, with mountain ponds and lakes scattered throughout, and the Futian River meandering through the park. There are sparse tree grasslands, tall eucalyptus forests, pine forests, kite squares, grass rolling fields, fishing centers, exhibition halls, and other cultural and sports facilities. The northeast side is a mountainous suburban scenic area, with the main peak at an elevation of 178 meters and the secondary peak at 163 meters. The panoramic view from the top of the mountain is open, with a close look at landmark buildings such as the Diwang Building and SEG Plaza, and a distant view of Shenzhen Bay, Shekou, and the beautiful scenery of Shangshui and Yuen Long in Hong Kong, with hiking trails, mountain top platforms, tea gardens, and other service facilities. Bijiashan Park is a rare urban park that combines natural ecology with artificial gardens, becoming a great place for citizens to relax and exercise.

Shenzhen Bijia Mountain Park | The annual Metasequoia is here
If you have no plans for the weekend, why not take a leisurely hike up Bijia Mountain? The elevation is not high, it takes about 1 hour to ascend, suitable for all ages, and quite relaxing. There are several gates at the entrance, all of which lead to the top, and the entire journey is quite easy.
🌟Highlights:
🍁Next to the Bijia Mountain Exhibition Hall is the Dongming Bridge (the Metasequoia trees here are large, not many trees but they complement the bridge and lake beautifully)
🍁Opposite the Bijia Mountain Gratitude Pavilion (the trees are not very dense, 🉑️a good spot to rest and enjoy the view during the walk)
🍁Next to the Central Park Landscape Lake (along the water's edge is a golden mini-forest, with the adjacent hillside available for camping, very pleasant☀️)
🍁Central Park D2 area (near a 🚻, a large, neat golden forest of Metasequoia, already very popular and picturesque like an oil painting) The tail end of winter, a beautiful golden time🖼🖼

Healing moments in the park | The nearly 3 million RMB flower exhibition in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone is open to the public for free
Yes, this is the main venue of the flower exhibition at Bijia Mountain Park in the Shenzhen area of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which is directly accessible by subway and free to visit. Compared to the usual flower exhibitions, this one is larger in scale and has several sub-venues. The largest is undoubtedly Bijia Mountain Park, but this year's flower exhibition relies on finding each spot to stagger the display times. You'll need to prepare in advance if you plan to visit, as it's an outdoor exhibition and the recent unpredictable weather means you must take protective measures.
🌹Visitor Guide: This flower exhibition is divided into three parks, but today I mainly recommend the main venue, Bijia Mountain Park. The other two are at Lotus Mountain and Xiangmi Park. Due to time and distance, I only visited Lotus Mountain and the Bijia Mountain sub-venue. As it's the main venue, I stayed there for over four hours, but I didn't get to see many of the flower exhibition areas properly. However, overall, it's still worth visiting in person, but be prepared for queues as there are quite a few visitors. I went on the first day, and fortunately, it wasn't too crowded. I suggest going early as it's a great place for photos and checking in. The exhibition covers an area of over 38,000 square meters with six sections including enterprise gardens, bay area gardens, city gardens, mini gardens, college student gardens, and a fresh flower show stage. Not only are there viewing areas, but also leisure and entertainment areas offering various free services. The park also has several bus routes that go directly there, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable and convenient travel experience.
🍽️Food and Drink Guide: The fourth Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Flower Exhibition in 2024 has teamed up with 18 merchants including Guangzhou Restaurant, Tan's Kitchen, Wan's Kitchen, Shan Jiu Ye, Xi Niu Hui, Mo Jie, and Master Bao to launch 'floral' specialty dishes and limited-time dining discounts. You can taste Chaozhou snacks, mushroom hotpot, signature pigeon, and other delicacies to satisfy your taste buds. At the Bijia Mountain Flower Exhibition, you can also shop for cultural and creative products, juice drinks, and participate in on-site check-in and stamp collection to receive commemorative gifts and consumption vouchers. During the same period, there are full purchase gifts like coffee and LEGO at Shum Yip Upperhills, and more discount activities are available. For details, consult the on-site staff.
⛲️Park Name: Bijia Mountain Sports Park
🎫Ticket Price: Free
📍Detailed Address: Bijia Mountain Sports Park, Futian District, Shenzhen City
🚇Subway Guide: Shenzhen Metro Line 10, Dongguanling Station Exit E
📷Recommended Check-in: As the flower exhibition is for a limited time, the park's parking lot is temporarily closed, so it's recommended to take green transportation. The nearest subway station to the south gate of Bijia Mountain is Shum Yip Upperhills Dongguanling Station—make sure not to take the wrong route. Other routes seem to work, but you may have to walk a bit. There are many scattered check-in spots along the road at the south gate entrance that are great for photos, so don't miss out. Due to time or weather, there are both indoor and outdoor exhibitions, which are not very uniform, like a market stall. You can go to the service point to get a flower exhibition manual and follow it to find the spots. If you have enough time, you can also visit the nearby Lotus Mountain sub-venue, which is also nice, but it's not necessary to go there just for the flower exhibition. Besides the flower exhibition, Bijia Mountain Park also has a children's playground, camping area, and outdoor leisure hiking area.

Bijia Mountain Park
Bijia Mountain Park, a park with a not-so-high mountain, is accessible even for those with poor physical strength. There are challenging paths as well as flat ones, suitable for individuals based on their own physical capacity.
