Big Lagoon: A Beautiful Destination Amid Crowded Shores
Rating:
Without private Tour ⭐️⭐️
With private Tour ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Big Lagoon in El Nido, Philippines, is undeniably stunning, but be prepared for crowds. During peak tourist season, it can get pretty packed, which can take away from the experience.
To make the most of your visit, I highly recommend booking a private tour. This allows you to explore Big Lagoon and other attractions without the crowds. We opted for "Tour A" and "Tour D" with Byahero's Travel and Tours, and it was a great decision.
With our private tour, we were able to arrive at each destination before other tourists, giving us a chance to fully appreciate the beauty of Big Lagoon without the hustle and bustle. The crystal-clear waters and towering limestone cliffs were even more breathtaking without the crowds.
Overall, Big Lagoon is worth a visit, especially if you can arrange a private tour to avoid the crowds. By booking with Byahero's Travel and Tours and choosing the right tours, we were able to enjoy this natural wonder to the fullest.

You know those scenes in movies where you see people’s jaw drop in awe? That’s what literally happened to me when I saw this majestic beauty located in El Nido, Palawan. Going to this lagoon will definitely excite you since a trip with a kayak will require you to reach this beauty. I looooove this place, and I definitely left my heart here.

In addition, prepare sun protection items such as sun hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen. The sun in El Nido is strong, so sun protection is very important.

The Great Lagoon is a popular attraction on Aini Island. In the past, we went to the Great Lagoon and the Little Lagoon in one day, but since November, we can't go there on the same day, on the grounds to limit the number of tourists a day and protect the environment. So if you go to all the big and small lagoons, it will take two days and more money. We only chose the big lagoon. In fact, the lagoons are almost the same, and the larger ones are relatively not so crowded. Kaya is indispensable for a trip to the lagoon, otherwise you can't experience that kind of fun.

Island Hopping in El Nido
In El Nido, I joined an island hopping tour.
There are four types of tours, and since it was my first time in El Nido, I chose the most popular A course.
• Seven Commando Beach
• Big Lagoon
• Shimizu Island
• Payong Payong Beach
• Secret Lagoon
From around 9 AM to 4:30 PM, you can visit the five islands listed above. The tour includes the boat, lunch, and towels, making it easy to participate.

Why the Giant’s Causeway is a must-visit
Do you think these clumps of jagged rocks 🪨 are the work of humans, animals or nature?
Located on the Atlantic Ocean coast and in a landscape of dramatic cliffs, the Giant’s Causeway is a World Heritage Site in Northern Ireland 🇬🇧. The rock pillars were formed by intense volcanic activities about 60 million years ago. Scientists think that molten lava flowed through the chalk bed and fissures. Because of the whipping wind and cold temperature, the lava cooled rapidly and contracted into clusters of uniform rock pillars.
There were over 40,000 pillars, and one is nearly 12 meters high.
Visitors are recommended to pre-book Visitor Experience tickets online to avoid queue time.

Visit Big Lagoon in the Philippines
Big Lagoon is truly an incredible destination unmatched by anything else you will find in the Philippines. 🛶After passing a narrow entrance, you will find yourself floating in the emerald water and surrounded by limestone cliffs. Captured here by @j.a.y.z.i.e , @c.hristina.d and Arya!

Fun travel in El Nido

It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. El Nido itself is a charming village hidden between hills and the ocean. There is something really genuine about it, as tourism industry is relatively new here. Nevertheless, there is everything you might need here: hotels of all levels, restaurants and cafes, tourist shops, travel agencies. The village is small and I assume can be too crowded in high season. In June it wasn't.
There are 3 tours offered - A, B, C. We've been to C and A. C means a lot of swimming and snorkeling and island hopping, secret beaches. A includes the famous big lagoon. They are really different so better go on several. Anyway there's not much else to do except the tours. They take most of the day and include great lunch of rice, vegetables, grilled fish and meet, fruits. Thanks to trip.com that we got cheap flights and enjoyed our vacation 👍💞

Beautiful place, great for a peaceful kayak stroll & taking pics of amazing scenery. Might get a bit crowded though at some point depending on how many island hopping boats are there @ the same time. Would be ideal to go through with a group on a private boat tour, off from the main island hopping route. Part of the main Tour A option

The sea water is crystal clear, the color of the sea in the trailing beach will be light blue, and the color of the sea with the seaweed part will show a dark blue color, which is very amazing!
I took a plane photo of the beach with my camera, and Mr. put a drone to record the beautiful scenery in front of me.
The color of the lagoon is so good that it looks like it is like pouring milk into the milky blue water in the blue lake. Under the sunlight, it shines with the milk blue light, which makes people feel enchanted.
Because the time is still early, the whole beach was surrounded by our family of three, blowing the sea breeze, piled up sand, playing in the water, leaving precious memories belonging to our family of three.
Min Hua Emily.
The Great Lagoon is like a valley in the hollow of the sea. It is very quiet and peaceful, because we came early, there is only one boat here, and that kind of silence is beyond words.
This was once the location of the last shot of "Bourne 4". After the ups and downs, the male and female protagonists finally sat together on the boat, crossing the islands of El Nido, and the boats waved into the distance.
The sea water here is incredible, and the sun is naturally not willing to miss the opportunity to add icing on the cake. It is like a sculptor on the water surface. He is more like a sculptor who is a little paranoid. , as a foil-like decoration to achieve the perfect effect in the heart.
Standing on the bow, I feel like I am traveling in the painting~ surrounded by green trees and hills. There are many deep harbors and small water bays around the lake, just like roaming in the wonderful fairy tale world.
