Located across from the massive CentralWorld mall and directly connected by a skywalk, it was incredibly convenient: I could shop at CentralWorld and then buy hotel food and souvenirs at Big C. They had everything from food, cosmetics, daily necessities, and even souvenirs for giveaways all on one floor. I used to go to "Hot Pot" a lot, but since my favorite store closed, I've been going to Oishi mainly. It's been a while since I last went there. This time, it's in the Big C (Ratchadaburi branch) supermarket, located in front of Central World in Ratchaprasong, a landmark of Bangkok. If you enter Gaysorn from BTS Chit Lom and follow the signs for "R Walk", you will arrive at Big C, facing the food court on the 4th floor. You can choose two soups from four types. What's great is that it's not a rotation system. A rotation system can have problems with things that are not fresh or not coming out as you want, but you can always get what you want in a fresh state. It's sustainable with little waste. Moreover, the people working here who are not serving customers are deaf and mute, so it's a diverse store. Today we were really lucky to have a chance to visit one of the biggest supermarket in bangkok. there are everything you need, from souvenir to convenience products. you will see price tags and label in few languages, and apparently this is one of the most popular stores in Bangkok. there are lots of tourists getting souvenirs ( food products like noodles, dried grou it’s, coconut water and etc) it was an amazing experience to walk through different aisles. there is also one section where we tried Thai curry, Thai instant noodles, coconut water and dried mango! there are 2 floors, another floor where you can get clothes as well! it was great #tripblazers #bucketlistreboot #mytripvlog

This is the one and only supermarket that is worth posting about. For many locals Big C is the place to go for daily groceries but for locals, it's a place of heaven for snacks like bbq squid, crispy seaweed, Thai potato chips, Maggi noodles, Dried Mangos and Coconut chips, Thai teas, Thai branded nuts and many more! You will see many tourists here stacking up trolleys with all these wonderful rare flavoured snacks that are only found in Thailand! Some tourists even have 2 trolleys because any brand that are locally made in Thailand since they cheaper compared back in our home countries. There is also a packing area after the counters for you to load up your items and seal them in cardboard boxes, and these cardboard boxes are provided for you by Big C supermarket. I don't usually drink sweet black tea, but I've heard that Thai tea tastes better on the sweeter side, so I chose 30% sweetness. I got some takeout and sipped my tea at my leisure in the empty food court a few floors above. Both the Thai Tea and Natural Thai Tea are 45 baht.
