With 19,000 acres of redwood forests, Great Basin Sequoia National Park is a wonderful place to see the beauty of the forest. At the time of discovery, many of the trees in the redwood forest were just seedlings and are now giant trees. The 329-foot "Mother Sequoia" and the 2,000-year-old "Father Sequoia" can be seen in the forest. Sequoia, also known as Sequoia, has a particularly long lifespan. Many of them are 2,000-3,000 years old, and some are even 5,000 years old. It grows rapidly and has a high survival rate, so it grows abnormally tall, and matures as high as 60-100 meters. The red fir has thick bark, which has a strong ability to avoid pests and fire. So it is recognized as one of the most valuable tree species in the world.
