Self-driving to Bicheno Beach, Tasmania Island.
Bicheno, Tasmania, Australia is located on the east coast. Some of the rocky beaches have red/yellow surfaces on the reefs. Looking out, the deep blue sea, snow-white waves, and colorful red/yellow reefs make for an extremely beautiful scenery. The air and seawater in Tasmania are highly clean, and the seawater is especially blue. The most attractive sight on the beach is the Blowhole, which sprays seawater every few minutes. The water column can be over ten meters high. This water area is a marine protected area, and fishing activities are strictly prohibited here, so the seawater here is particularly clean. The protection area regulations state that boats are not allowed to anchor or dock here; no marine animals or plants can be taken away, and garbage that may harm marine life, such as ropes, plastic products, and fishing lines, cannot be discarded.
On the mountaintop away from the beach, there is a whaler's lookout site. Two hundred years ago, this was originally a whaler's lookout tower. In the early 19th century, not far from the whaling town of Bichino, there was a small mountain where the whaling industry prospered for a time. From April to October each year, migrating whale pods often passed through the waters in this area. The method of whaling was to send people to observe the ocean surface from the lookout tower. Once a whale was spotted surfacing and spouting water, a flag would be raised to notify the whaling fleet deployed in the sea. As women have sharper eyesight and more patience than men by nature, the position of whale lookout was usually taken by women.
There is a lobster restaurant by the seaside, with a unique location and unbeatable sea view. Ordered half a lobster with side dishes of fries, the lobster tasted great and the scenery outside the window was especially beautiful. The only downside is that the lobster is quite expensive, 65 Australian dollars per serving. Australia Oceania Tasmania, Australia Bicheno, Tasmania
