Peaceful, Playable Bharat Tea Plantation
Small but very cozy tea house. It offers the usual warming Cameron Tea and scones and lovely carrot cake.
This is different from the Cameron Valley Tea House which is located before this Tea house. We visited that one 3years back, it was too crowded so we decided to visit this that's further down.
We spent 20rm for the round trip tram, and thankfully we did. The tea plantation is trying to make the tea plantation more touristy so now there's path up to the Cameron Valley Tea signage, which was quite a steep walk up (or maybe tougher just because I am pregnant). The tram ride saved my legs partially XD. There is also a mini booth that sells ice cream and whatever sold at the tea house, so you can consider chilling there with the river view.
If you're feeling adventurous, have a dip in the waterfall waters! Just no washing area so maybe just a walk in the stream is good enough haha.
There is a playground as well at the bottom of the tea plantation, which my 2.5yo kid had an absolutely great time there. It is also pretty child proof so have a break with your spouse on the sun chairs below while your child has as much fun as he wants! (Beware your kid won't wanna leave the playground like my kiddo! Hahaha!)
Overall, we spent about 3hours there, when we expected ourselves to only be there for 1-2hours max. It was a much greater experience than 3years ago!#travel #thingstodo #familytravel #afternoonteatime #parent-child #tea #worthavisit
