While enjoying themselves in the pool, they also can see the beautiful beach scenery. The swimming pool have both knee and waist depth, which is safe for the kids. Two slides, side by side also in good working condition. My kids love it so much! Just make sure your kids don’t run to chase for the slide, as the wet floor can be slippery. #langkawitrip During our stay in Langkawi, we opted for the affordable AB MOTEL Island Hopping Tour, priced at just RM30. We signed up the night before and departed the next morning. Although the tour lasted around four hours, the experience was enjoyable and well worth the price. Meeting Point & Accommodation The tour began with a meet-up at AB Travel Station on Cenang Beach – easy to find thanks to its clear signage. After check-in, we were taken by van to the departure jetty. We stayed at Best Star Resort, which is only a few minutes’ walk from the tour station – super convenient! The hotel was quite old, but the location was unbeatable, right next to the beach and shopping areas. Though we had some issues with the hot water and toilet flush, the staff were responsive and friendly. (Tip: hairdryers are available at the front desk!) Island Hopping Itinerary 🚤 1️⃣ Pregnant Maiden Island (Lake of the Pregnant Maiden) We didn’t land on this island but had a short stop near the viewpoint. From the right angle, the shape of the mountain resembles a reclining pregnant woman – perfect for a quick photo. 2️⃣ Dayang Bunting Marble Geoforest Park We entered the island and paid a RM6 entrance fee. The park had a well-paved walkway leading to a freshwater lake where you can swim or try paid water activities. The surrounding landscape gave us “budget Guilin” vibes – calm and scenic. 3️⃣ Eagle Watching at Pulau Singa Besar (Big Lion Island) We stayed on the boat and watched eagles circling above us – such a cool experience, especially for those of us from inland cities who’d never seen wild eagles up close. 4️⃣ Pulau Beras Basah (Wet Rice Island) Our final stop! The water here was clear like glass, but there were some foamy residues likely from boat traffic, which was a little disappointing. There were optional water sports, seating areas, toilets, and places to buy drinks. Watch out for monkeys! They’re sneaky and will go after any food in your bag. Overall Thoughts The tour lasted about 4 hours in total. Though simple and not luxury, it was a smooth and relaxing half-day trip – perfect for those wanting a quick getaway on a budget. The breeze on the speedboat alone made it worth it!

The hotel is also by the sea, with excellent views and a convenient location, within walking distance of various restaurants and shops, making it a good choice for those on a budget. 🛁 Experience · The hotel offers family rooms with 2 queen beds, perfect for family or friends traveling together. · The facilities are a bit old, and some bathrooms need repair and cleaning, but the rooms are generally clean and tidy. · Many rooms offer views of Pantai Cenang, especially rooms 332 and 331 with balconies. · The children's pool and outdoor pool are also popular, and it's a pleasure to have breakfast/lunch or dinner by the pool in the morning or evening. · With its excellent location, you can walk to shopping malls, many restaurants, and duty-free shops. 🌊 Nearby Attractions · Underwater World: Within walking distance, it's an ideal place for family activities. · Yellow Cafe Langkawi: A great place to enjoy the sunset and delicious food. · Sky Bridge and Cable Car: A little further away, but well worth a visit. · There are many nearby restaurants to choose from, including Arang BBQ & Grill, La Sal at Casa Del Mar, and Red Tomato. The hotel has a friendly service attitude, and although the facilities are old, it has a high cost performance. The surrounding area is convenient for dining and shopping, and there are many attractions, making it suitable for families, couples, and friends to relax. Although some details still need to be improved, it is a good choice for a relaxing holiday at Pantai Cenang in Langkawi.

I came with my family, booked family room. The room was fine, as well the staff. The facilities are fine. Very near to the Beach, shops nearby, as well as food. Perfect location, everything is available within walking distance. Very convenient for our family with little kids. The room is spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, fast service and always smiling. The food is tasty, and come in big portion. The kids enjoyed their time at the pool and the beach.
