Memorial and Museum Sachsenhausen 薩克森豪森集中營 Location: Str. der Nationen 22, 16515 Oranienburg, Berlin How to get there: First take metro to Oranienburg station and then take 804 or 821 bus to Sachsenhausen 集中營佔地面積十分大，所以建議跟官方路線去走。參觀動線比較特別，一定要通過遊客中心才能進到集中營區域，也要由那邊出園區，可在租借英文導覽機，（5euro)但除非英文絕佳，不然應該沒耐心慢慢聽。 其中比較有突色的是Arbeit macht frei 鐵閘，Arbeit macht frei 意思是勞動帶來自由，代表當時Jews 係入面做苦工的狀況。 另一個參觀設施就是生活區，不過目前的生活區是根據倖存者的記憶重建的，不是最原始的樣貌。 當時是300 – 400人共用一個營舍，短短半小時要用兩個洗手台搞定梳洗、只有冷水。

I stayed in Berlin for 4 days, which is not quite enough to be honest 🥲 however it was definitely one of cities I’d recommend people to visit, the historical buildings and all the museums are amazing, of course they are not very happy history. My trip was super chill, I joint a free walking tour (ofc you have to tip at the end) but that helped me to understand the city better and kind of allow me to pick a direction to explore deeply.#Belin #solotraveller #Food

Berlin is one of my favourite cities in the world!! It has so much to offer on both culturally and in terms of authentic living. The obvious tourist sights are definitely worth visiting, for example; the TV tower and Berlin cathedral. But it is also worth taking some time to walk through the streets and visiting popular student haunts, such as; Holzmarkt 25 and Klunkerkranich for a great view over the whole city!! Incredibly beautiful city with stunning architecture all around. It might seem like an industrial city at first but the it has a quaint and alluring culture that slowly draws you in. It has an incredibly rich and complicated history that is unique and you will not be able to find elsewhere in Europe or even the world for that matter. The art is also incredible in Berlin and a great place for any art-lovers.

Germany has several cities where I find the most interesting place to visit is in Berlin. Back in secondary school days, my teacher used to talk about the Berlin Wall and what it does but I've never imagine how it will excatly look like first hand until I went to the original Berlin Wall itself. This is the very Wall that actually separated separated divided Berlin from East Germany in 1961 to 1989. There is also the Jewish memorial that you can visit, where this was once the mass murder of Jews. This is like a memorial for them and the area here is rather peaceful and quiet. Lastly the BODE Mueusm where you will find collection of paintings from the sculpture collection and also the Museum of Byzantine Art and the Munzkabinett.
