Transportation
- From the airport to the city: Las Vegas Airport is close to the city, about a 15-minute drive.
- City transportation: If you are traveling near the Las Vegas Strip, you can choose to walk or take the free shuttle buses of major hotels. City buses are economical and suitable for traveling near the Strip or the old town. The monorail runs along the east side of the Las Vegas Strip, connecting hotels. Taxis and ride-hailing apps such as Uber and Lyft are also available, but they are more expensive.
Accommodation
- East of the Strip and Harry Reid Airport area: Located on the east side of the Strip, hotel prices are relatively moderate.
- West of the Strip: West of the Strip, the accommodation environment is relatively quiet and cheap.
- North of Las Vegas: North of the Strip, there are many budget hotels, suitable for tourists who want to enjoy the vast desert oasis.
Attractions
- Las Vegas Strip: The main street of Las Vegas, with many iconic buildings and attractions along the way, such as the pyramid shape of the Luxor Hotel, the Manhattan view and the Statue of Liberty of the New York Hotel, etc. The neon lights are bright and lively at night.
- Bellagio Fountain: Located in front of the Bellagio Hotel, it performs every 15 minutes and is a wonderful water visual feast.
- Cirque du Soleil: Such as "KA" show, the stage can rotate 360°; "O" show, the stage is a large pool, the plot revolves around water, both are very ornamental.
- Las Vegas Welcome Sign: A popular check-in spot, located at the southernmost end of the Strip, it is recommended to go early.
Food
- Buffet: All major hotels have buffets with a wide variety of dishes. Some hotels offer 24-hour buffet coupons, which can be enjoyed at any time within the specified time.
Day Trips
- Valley of Fire: About an hour's drive from the Strip, the park is full of red rocks and the scenery is spectacular. The entrance fee is $15 per car.
- Death Valley: About a 2-hour drive from the Strip, the scenic area is large, and the distance between attractions is far, so you need to plan your time in advance.
