As the train slowly climbed the slope, sulfurous smoke from the geothermal valley happened to drift across the tracks, giving the carriage a faint mineral scent. The best part is at dusk, when the lights of the hot spring hotels light up one by one, as if the entire mountain city is stretching out in the hot springs. In just a few stops, the past and present of Beitou are laid out before the passengers.

It was a scene that was hard to see in regular parks, so it felt mysterious.😆 The park was quiet and secluded, so it was perfect for a walk. It was a completely different atmosphere from downtown Taipei, so I felt like I was healing away from the noise of the city for a while!! As you walk along the park, you can see the Beitou Hot Spring Stream(溫泉溪, Beitou Hot Spring Stream) flowing. Unlike regular streams, the water here is warm hot spring water. When I got closer, I could smell a faint sulfur smell from the water, but it wasn't uncomfortable at all and felt like it was in nature. As I walked along the path along the slowly flowing hot spring water, the peaceful atmosphere created in harmony with the surrounding trees was impressive. Sometimes, when the wind blew, the steam rising from the hot spring water felt like it was warmly wrapping the surrounding air.!! Although Beitou Park is not large, you can see various landscapes as you walk. On one side, there was a green lawn, and on the other side, there was a small pond and wooden bridge reminiscent of a Japanese garden. Today I went to Xinbeitou Park. My friend took me to eat at a famous old ice shop in Beitou (Xinfeng Special Shaved Ice). They only offer takeout. No dine-in service. We bought (Longan Shaved Ice) with tapioca pearls. It is very chewy. The ice is not sweet and not greasy. I ate it one bite after another. It is delicious. It is worth recommending to everyone.

The weather is very good today. It's not cold and the sun is shining. I went to the library in Xinbeitou Park to read some materials. For lunch, I have to eat well even if I'm alone. I went to the nearby (Hakata Ramen) and ordered a bowl of (Signature Tenno Fresh Garlic Ramen). It was sprinkled with a lot of black sesame powder and served with fresh minced garlic. The soup is very fresh and tastes very comfortable and delicious. The noodles are thin and chewy. The merchant is very kind and gives you free extra noodles and soup. I have a small appetite and can't finish the noodles, let alone get more noodles. I ordered another portion of (mixed sashimi). The boss is a Japanese chef himself, so the ingredients are not only fresh but also of high quality. The shop is not big, but the (wasabi) is freshly ground. It's great! Order another grilled herring. The fish is very fresh. The meat is very tender and oily. It's really delicious😋A great restaurant worth recommending to everyone
