The ginkgo trees in Olympic Forest Park are stunning.
Olympic Forest Park Fall Travel Guide: Fall in Beijing Olympic Forest Park is a picture of gold and red intertwined.
Best viewing period: The ginkgo trees in Olympic Forest Park are now in their best viewing period, which is expected to last for another 7 to 14 days. The ginkgo trees are golden, and the red maples are in full bloom, making it a great time to enjoy the fall foliage.
Transportation: Take Metro Line 15 to Olympic Forest Park Station, Exit G, or Line 8 to Forest Park South Gate Station, Exit C, and walk a few minutes to the ginkgo trees.
Duration: We recommend spending 1 to 2 hours here, taking a leisurely stroll along the ginkgo avenue and enjoying the tranquility and beauty of fall.
Recommended route: After exiting the metro station, walk south along the North Central Axis Scenic Avenue, and you'll find the ginkgo avenue on both sides of the road. The ginkgo avenue on the west side is more spectacular. Continue south to the north of the Hehe Archway, where there is a ginkgo grove, the best photo spot.
Tips:
• Crowd management: Olympic Forest Park is a popular spot for viewing ginkgo trees, so it can get crowded. Visitors with children should take care of them.
• Avoid peak times: To enjoy a peaceful time viewing the leaves, we recommend visiting early in the morning. No reservation is required, and admission is free.
• Leaf viewing route: The ginkgo avenue in front of the South Gate of the South Garden of Olympic Forest Park is 90% yellow, and the ginkgo grove is full of ginkgo trees.
• Photography tips: Two to three in the afternoon is the best time to take photos, as the light is best for backlit artistic photos.
• Ginkgo rain experience: To experience the romance of ginkgo rain, pay attention to the weather and be ready to go at any time to enjoy the poetic scene of ginkgo leaves flying in the sky and falling on the ground.
Outfit suggestions: Wear warm colors, such as orange and brown, to complement the golden ginkgo leaves and blend in with the warm autumn sun.
Food preparation: Bring some light snacks and drinks to enjoy a leisurely picnic while viewing the leaves.
Environmental awareness: Please protect the environment, do not litter, and keep the ginkgo avenue clean and beautiful.

The Olympic Green is an Olympic Park in Chanyang District, Beijing, constructed for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Take Metro Line 8 or Line 15 to Beijing Olympic Park and leave from Exit B.
Its contains 10 Olympic venues, 7 non-competitive venues and a forest park , some of which have become landmarks of Beijing and representative works in architectural history such as the Bird Nest and Water Cube.
Visitors was also refreshing to see a more contemporary type of urban architecture, admired the stadium's night lights, and ate ice cream in the winter evening.

Olympic Park, Beijing
I went a few times over the few years I was in Beijing, each time was so different. The first time was early during covid and obviously a lot was closed and it was still rather cold so not much too look at. After that each time got more interesting and beautiful. Took a few tries but I finally got to go during the night and enjoy the buildings lit up. Really happy I got to do that it was really nice. Going up in the tower also took a few tries, it’s a lot further than it looks from now one end of the park. You also need to reserve a spot a few days before you go but definitely worth going up at least once during a good day. #thisischina

Based on advice from friends, visiting the Beijing Olympic Park at night is more fun because it is treated to the beautiful colorful lights of various buildings there. Like the glitter of the Olympic tower lights that always change color and the magnificent reflection of Bird Nest light. Human activities are also lively there at night, there are dancing, sports or playing music.

Autumn is the best time to visit Beijing Olympic Park!
🌟 Autumn is not just about golden colors, but also pink. The Olympic Forest Park is a wildflower paradise, with garden cosmos, zinnias, sulfur cosmos, kochia scoparia, and hairawn muhly.
🌟 As you enter the park, you'll be greeted by a colorful display of zinnias, garden cosmos, and sulfur cosmos. The flowers are a riot of colors, including yellow, pink, red, and white, and they shine brightly in the sunlight, like a beautiful painting!
🌟 Hairawn muhly blooms like a cloud of pink smoke, creating a fairyland atmosphere. The delicate pink flowers are enchanting, like a beautiful poem or painting.
🌟 Kochia scoparia is fluffy and round, changing from green to red. The red and green colors dance together, creating a mesmerizing display!
🌸 Be sure to visit the Olympic Forest Park for a photo op, and don't miss the best viewing period! The sea of flowers and hairawn muhly are truly stunning!

Olympic Park
Wander through the ginkgo forest and finally capture the "Big Nail."
Beijing's autumn scenery is beautiful, and there are many places to enjoy it. In addition to the previously introduced Wuta Temple and the back lake of the Summer Palace, I recommend another great place to enjoy autumn - Beijing Olympic Park.
The park is quite large, and the best photo spot is the Olympic Tower, commonly known as the "Big Nail." To capture the Olympic Tower surrounded by ginkgo leaves, you need to keep looking for the best shooting position. Take subway line 8, get off at the South Gate of Olympic Forest Park Station, exit C, and walk south. You will find a ginkgo forest on one side, where you can find a suitable shooting position. The ginkgo leaves were yellow on November 3, and they should still be good these days, so hurry up and go.
You can also enjoy the Bird's Nest and other sports facilities, and the riverside scenic sightseeing belt is very eye-catching.

Meet the autumn colors of Beijing at the Olympic Park.
Lu Xun, Lao She, Lin Yutang, Yu Dafu, and other famous writers all spoke highly of the autumn colors of Beijing. They must have understood the beauty of autumn in old Beijing.
On a nice autumn day, take a walk in Beijing Olympic Park and you will be amazed by the relaxing and stunning autumn colors.
In the reflection of the dragon-shaped water system, you can see the rich culture of Beijing, as the park is surrounded by a number of heavyweight museums: China Science and Technology Museum, China Scientist Museum, Museum of the Communist Party of China, China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, China Arts and Crafts Museum, and China Archaeological Museum.
The Linglong Tower and the Olympic Tower stand tall against the blue sky, echoing each other. The tall trees and low flowers on both sides of the central axis are colorful. Especially the ginkgo trees, which are the most beautiful in this season.
I wonder what those famous writers would think if they had the chance to see the harmony between nature and culture in the autumn colors of the Olympic Park today.

Beijing’s Modern Marvels Illuminated: A Night Journey from Olympic Grandeur to Guomao’s Skyline
#chinatrip #beijing #awesomepic
My night-time visit to Beijing Olympic Park was an incredible experience. The architecture really comes alive under the lights, transforming into something even more impressive. The Bird’s Nest (Niaocao) was glowing in a soft golden light, and seeing its intricate steel structure illuminated against the night sky made it stand out even more. Walking around the expansive park, with its wide avenues and modern sculptures, felt surreal, especially with the peaceful atmosphere that night brings.
Right next to it, the Water Cube (Shuilifang) was a stunning sight. The whole building was lit up in these bright blue and green hues, which made it look almost like it was from another world. Its bubble-like design really pops at night, and the way the lights shimmered on its surface was mesmerizing. Even though it’s now a water park, the light show outside draws in so many people—it’s a real highlight of the park at night.
After exploring the Olympic Park, I headed over to Guomao, and the vibe there was completely different but equally amazing. The skyscrapers there are on another level, especially the CCTV Headquarters. That L-shaped building, nicknamed “the pants,” looks so futuristic, and at night, the sharp lights tracing its bold design made it look even more striking. The whole area is lit up with colorful lights from all the surrounding skyscrapers, giving off this powerful, modern energy. Guomao at night really shows off the ambition and progress of Beijing.

Chinese parks are one of the most wonderful and wonderful wonders of the Celestial Empire. Places of strength and tranquility. Fancy paths paved with tiles wind, willows lean along the shores of lakes covered with silt and duckweed, in which lotuses bloom and bright goldfish swim – paintings from Chinese painting that you have seen before only in albums. Carved bridges and stone lions stand across the connecting lakes and rivers, and shady cozy gazebos on the hills.
However, the Chinese park is nothing without its inhabitants. What is happening here is amazing and unique in its kind. Life is in full swing, but very harmoniously: kites are flown in gazebos, shuttlecocks are played on lawns, various practices are done on lawns among trees, in the evening they dance tango or dance with swords and fans.
Beijing's parks and gardens are entire open-air museums that occupy an important place in the history and culture of China. Here you can touch the past, admiring the pavilions, temples and painted galleries, stroll along the paths that keep traces of representatives of aristocratic families, enjoy the surrounding beauty and relax from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Common features characteristic of the landscape art of the Chinese capital: poetic names, bridges, reservoirs occupying up to 70% of the territory, bright gazebos, balustrades, alleys, curly wall openings, decorative fences, paved paths with images of animals and birds, mosaics, trees of bizarre shapes.
The park ensembles of the Celestial Empire are famous for their wonderful floral decoration, which contains roses of various varieties and colors, camellias, rhododendrons, azaleas. The assortment of flora is maddening: Chinese oaks, 500-year-old cypresses, junipers, chestnuts, maples, willows. Sculptures in Chinese gardens are rare, with the exception of theme parks - Olympic Park, Stalin Park, Pioneer Park, Red Army Park, etc. More often, natural stones act as sculptures. The architectural core of Beijing's parks and gardens are palace buildings.

Summer is so beautiful, the sun, short hair, grass, skirts flying, even if you move with sweat, it is worth to go outdoors to keep some summer memories.
Sometimes you can take a satisfactory photo without going far away. For example, this time, I always wanted the feeling of special summer, and the flying skirt was added to the item. Decided to go to the Olympic Park to shoot, not many people are better shot.
Shooting time: around 5 o'clock in the evening, the light is soft and can bring its own highlights. When I was shooting, it was morning, the sun was particularly strong, and most of them were shot under the shade of the trees.
Location: Where the large background color is the same, the picture will be clean.
Shooting skills: 1. You can shoot near the water's edge, and the light from the water will reflect, which will make the color better.
2. Under the shade of the tree, we must pay attention to the light spots of the face, and try to avoid the occurrence of a piece of light.
3. Small accessories must be brought, hats, earrings, bags, etc., to save the hands of nowhere.

Summer,
What is your favorite color?
is the green of the toon, the red of the watermelon,
or the sky blue and rainbow
summer after the rainstorm,
you think I want to go to the pond to see the lotus
I want to go to the beach and plunge into the spray
I said to Shu Yi,
"I want to see the yellow sunflower"
summer remember to take the sunflower in the Olympic Park ~
