Wuzhen is located at the northern end of Tongxiang City, on the west side of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, bordering Huzhou City to the west, and Wujiang County, Jiangsu Province to the north. It is located at the junction of two provinces and three cities. As one of the first batch of Chinese historical and cultural towns, one of China's top ten charming towns, and a national 5A-level scenic spot, Wuzhen is known as "the last riverside village in China."
