And boy, were we thrilled when we found Harajuku Japanese restaurant! The price may look steep at first, but when the food arrives, you'll come to realize that the portion is big and very much worth the price! What we loved from the menu was the Zaru Soba and Tonkatsu Curry Don. Also, the Chawanmushi was very flavourful, the dashi stock was amazing! The café is nicely decorated, with nice hues or orange! Love the transparent windows at the side of the café, allowing ample flow of natural lighting into the store. Also love that they incorporate some greeneries in store, very instagrammable and chic pastries store! The ambiance in store was rather lively and happening with conversations of patrons visiting. They offer a wide variety of pastries and cakes like soft toast, flavoured buns, delicate cakes, even sandwiches. We got some of their breads and toasts to go! We also ordered their iced latte, which was really great with strong coffee aroma and a nice balance between the coffee shot and milk! Would revisit for sure!

The restaurant is always packed with hungry patrons as it is nearby the industrial area. Specialising in mala dishes, the restaurant offers both mala soup base and dry mala with 4 levels of spiciness. There are a vast variety of ingredients to choose from the freezer, like meat, vegetables, fishballs meatballs of all kinds. Everything is self service, from choosing the ingredients to collection of food. We chose the mild level spiciness and it was alright and paired really well with the ingredients.

The ambiance of the restaurant was lively with the chatters and laughters of visitors. Lovely minimalist decor in store. Love that the food was served hot and pretty quickly. The sushi was nicely plated, rolled well and compact, love it.

The restaurant is strategically and conveniently located at the road side, with ample of parking spaces, but parking spot can be hard to find on the weekdays. The restaurant has plenty of tables and seatings, able to accommodate larger groups of visitors. The restaurant is cozy and chill, lively with the chatters and laughters of patrons. Service was prompt, but we it was quite a long wait for our food to be served on table. Food was served hot. Specialising in Nyonya food, it was really delicious and flavourful. We love the fish dish, nicely cooked and done!

The cafe boasts minimalist decor, love the muji-style furnish of the store, it is also bright and clean. The in store café is huge, with plenty of seatings and tables, able to accommodate small and large groups of patrons. The spacing between tables was decent as well. They offer a wide selection of food and drinks menu from Japanese (Unagi Don, salmon ochazuke) to Western like fries. Food was served piping hot and pretty quickly. Service from staff was decent. There is ample parking lots at the area, at a certain charges, so no worries on having a headache finding a parking spot. The café is packed with hungry patrons towards the end of dinner, would recommend to make reservation before visiting the cafe.
