The Bay of Fires in Tasmania is pure magic! 🌅 Located along the northeastern coast, this stretch of coastline is a dream with its fiery orange boulders, white sandy beaches, and turquoise waters. Best of all, it’s free to explore—there’s no entrance fee! I spent hours wandering along the beaches, marveling at the contrast of colors and the tranquility of the area.
Starting at Binalong Bay, I followed the coastline north. It’s ideal for hiking, and the views were incredible. Swimcart Beach was my favorite spot to relax, and if you’re into snorkeling, the clear water reveals stunning marine life. Camping is popular here, and I stayed at one of the free campsites right by the beach—falling asleep to the sound of waves was unforgettable.
Nearby, St Helens is a great little town to grab supplies or enjoy some fresh seafood. For wine lovers, the local vineyards are a short drive away and worth a visit. The Bay of Fires is unspoiled, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with nature.

📍Bay of Fires
This beach is called Bay of Fires because the orange rocks look like they're burning.
Google Maps took me to the ocean 🤷🏻♀️
The photo shows the first one that appears, as there are two points where the bushes open up between Suicide Beach and The Gardens Parking!
I'm not sure if this is the right place, but the coastline with the orange rocks continues for a long time, so if you drive around the area, you should be able to find it somewhere 🍊
